My husband ordered online and it was bit confusing for him because it asked to add extra sauce and he said no extra sauce and our pizza just had bread and cheese. I was out running errands and I pick up the pizza on the way home. When I picked it up, it wasn't what he wanted to order. When I explained to the nice young lady, she put another order in for what we were actually trying to order. I offered to pay the difference but they made me a brand new pizza! Came on a Saturday around noon. There was only one other party there. I think more pizza lovers need to know about this place. Started with mozzarella sticks and garlic knots. Highly recommend the mozzarella sticks. I love me some non frozen mozzarella sticks. The garlic knots were fine but the mozz sticks def won the appetizer face off. Had the deep dish pizza with extra pepperoni. Really good. Was nervous about having provolone instead of mozzarella on my pizza but really enjoyed it. The pepperoni was a mixture of cupping pepperoni and regular cut. It's definitely oily because of the pepperoni, but still delicious. I would not call this a Detroit style nor Chicago style deep dish. I would say it's a square pan pizza. It lacks the Parmesan cheese melted crust to be Detroit and the flaky crust of Chicago style. I've been wanting to try this place and finally went when I was craving for some pizza and pasta. Went in and looked at their menu to see what they offered. I was glad they had a smaller size pizza (6 slices) for building your own. I ordered that and got red sauce, fresh mozzarella, pineapple, mushrooms, and pesto drizzle. With a fountain drink the order came out to just under $20 which is a reasonable price given the pizza can last me 2 or 3 meals. While waiting I saw that they had some specials including happy hour Monday through Friday and daily lunch specials where you can get individual slices. The place was big and clean and good for party sizes. If my friends were in town I wouldn't mind taking them here for a night of pizza and drinks. In addition to their pizzas, they have appetizers, salad, and some pasta choices. I wish they had more choices for vegetarian pasta so that I can stop by when I want pasta. Their desserts include cakes like cheesecake or tiramisu, cinnamon knots, and 4 different Gelato flavors. When I got home, I made myself a salad and ate it with the pizza and it was delicious. I can definitely taste the difference of getting fresh mozzarella. I also like that you can get 2 slices of pizza and a drink combo for about $10 during certain lunch hours which is great for customers including the high school students nearby. The place was very simple and nice simple decor nothing to crazy . I think the tv was kind of loud for me to be honest . The staff wasn't that friendly wasn't very welcoming. Very disappointing, crust is good but very little sauce. I even requested extra sauce and still didn't get anything. Not much flavor at all. I only went here because they have BreweryX Huckleberry Seltzer on tap. But they rotate with other flavors that are nowhere as good. Employees say Huckleberry is the best seller. I guess getting a discount from BreweryX is more important than making customers happy. Chino Hills Pizza, Paulies Pizza, Pizza Pirates and even Domino's is better. I've known about Next Door Pizza for a while after driving by it so many times while attending my daughter's games at Chino Hills High School. Finally tried it for the first time and ordered the hot honey pepperoni pizza -- it was excellent. The crust is the real standout -- classic New York style with a great crunch on the outside and the perfect amount of chewiness. The combination of crispy pepperoni, hot honey drizzle, and scoops of ricotta was simple but absolutely delicious. Nothing fancy, just really well-executed pizza. While the website did not have any area for my to designate my explicit wishes for the bake- To cook my pizza "well done." Bravo to the Eagle-eyed staffer who adroitly caught my note I'd placed near my payment information!! Tho I'd strongky suggest Next Door add a "bake time (regular or well done)" to its order page lest they risk potentially upset customers down the line who, like me, prefer tbe crisper finish of a well done pie. My pie itself was pretty good- NY style, dough on the foldable side w/ fresh ingredients. Tho my order was takeout the venue was buzzing- The dining room was nearly full and the (small) lot was so tightly packed I hadta park over by the Holiday Inn Express and hoof it in. Ordered the deep dish, not Chicago style deep dish , but I could be wrong, Detroit style deep dish. Not bad at all very flavorful but maybe cooked a little longer than it should be. I like my pizza with the cheese all stringy when you bite into it, even after you heat it up . Pizza was more dense than pizza I've tasted like this in the past, But the pizza was still good. I will come back to get their traditional round pizzas . Wings were flavorful but they forgot to give us ranch dressing. So I am a major pizza snob. Definitely very critical not just with the pizza but all the other things with it. Just moved here from Newport Beach so I'm used to great pizza. This place is good. Not bad but nothing to rave about. (Yes, first world problems) THE PIZZA: I ended up getting a medium Mr Popular. Decent. Crust was ok as it was a tad soggy in the middle and when I took a slice out it flopped down. Everything else was decent as was the jalapeño and pepperoni but the sausage was a total let down. Mere crumbles of sausage. Barely enough to satisfy a 2 year old lol. I'm used to pizza with sausage at least the size of quarter. Definitely need to add more sausage to this "specialty pizza" Their Cesar was ok. The lettuce had too many end pieces from the romaine that were wilted. Not enough crunch in the salad. Dressing was on point. BUT...their ranch was too runny. Almost soupy. Good ranch should have a little more thickness and molasses like texture with more viscous consistency. But for the price I can't complain. The inside looks clean and would be a fun place to watch the game and chill with some friends. The service was perfect. First time here and I live down the street lol. Came for the hot honey pizza but was fixated on their other options. The crust and the bread on the pizza is great. The pepperonis were delicious as well. The hot honey was good but i needed more (I took half the pizza home and added more hot honey and it was superb). I loved the dollop of ricotta but wish there was more. I enjoyed it a little more when I spread it around. Overall loved the pizza but it i needed a fresh element. Solid local pizza spot. Our family was excited to find a pizza spot selling thin crust pies, reminiscent of NYC pizza. Tried the regular cheese pizza twice. The crust was nice and thin, but not as crispy as we would have liked. Their cheese pizzas come with both mozzarella and pecorino cheese. Recommend opting out of the pecorino as it made the pizza pretty salty. Will definitely come back to try other toppings and crust varieties. read more

First time visit and our kiddos enjoyed the food! We ordered a "build your own" pizza and 8piece wings online and our order finished right when we arrived so it was fresh. The gentleman who helped us at the counter told us somehow our ticket was read wrong so they accidentally only put pepperoni on half of the pizza. I told them it was ok, but to make up for the mistake they gave us a free slice of their tiramisu. I was hoping for big pieces of sausage that drip grease onto the pizza, but the sausage they use is small and crumbly. Pizza was ok. First time at Next Door Pizza. We had the antipasto salad, hot honey pepperoni pizza, a build your own pizza, and a hard seltzer. The food and service were great. The prices were a bit high and I wish the hot honey pizza had a little more of the honey sauce. Other than that, everything was great. They had multiple televisions with MMA, baseball, and soccer playing. The staff was great and all seemed to be hospitable and in a good mood. I got an 18 inch pie from this place last week while staying at the nearby Holiday Inn. I was happy to find a pizza place I could walk to from the hotel. I'm sad to report that the pizza was a big disappointment. I saw on the website that they claim to have "East Coast" pizza. Having grown on up on the East Coast, this place would be out of business very quickly over there. Cheese, sauce, and crust were all weak. Toppings were pretty good but lacking in quantity. Very boring. The Little Caesars near Knott's Berry Farm has better pizza, trust me. Great pizza tastes best when microwaved the morning after for breakfast. This pizza place is right next to the Luchidor and they serve the craft beer from there. The Food is great, I had the hot honey pepperoni pizza along with wings and a beer and it was tasty! Service is pretty good, you order at a counter and take a table flag. They brought me my beer as soon as I sat down at my table, wings shortly after, and pizza about 20 minutes later. We ordered our tik tok pizza and picked it up. We drove it 3 blocks down the street to share with some friends, with a glass of wine, for my birthday. We arrived and it was ice cold. The nice girl on the phone said 25-35 minutes for pick up and we were there within the time frame. We openned up the lid and there it was. It looked like it had been sitting in that box in a lake of grease on someones counter all night. Literally a few tbsp of sauce was spread all over the pizza. You could see the crust but not the sauce. We could not even taste it and we thought they forgot to put it on. The crust was like tissue paper, thin as 2 ply toliet paper. Included were miniscule crumbs of sausage with no taste and giant blobs of ricatta cheese that did not have a fresh, ricatta cheese consistency or taste.The ricatta tasted like it came from a mix and was like creamy, fluffy, frosting. We tried to stay positive and spread it over the pizza as directed by some other Yelp reviewers. The 4 of us agreed that this was not edible and in the trash it went. There is such a thing as bad pizza everyone. Next Door Pizza proved it tonight. Save your money, don't believe the tik tocs, and order from Pizza Hut. Happy Birthday to me. read more

I had the pleasure of trying the new to the menu, or at least to me, deep dish pie. It was clearly inspired by Detroit-style pizzas. It had a great crust, not too bready--and still retained those great fresh toppings. I normally just prefer a traditional round pie with its predictable dimensions and thickness.
