What a total blast! Never rode a Segway before. Got on and in 10 minutes was going up and down ramps and running a slalom course. Cagliari is very hilly and the sites to see are in the oldest part of town, which like all cities in the Med are on TOP of the highest hill nearest to the sea (defendable when the attackers came). We had a delightful two and a half hour tour on these machines. Ivo Cappai was our instructor and guide who took us through the city. We went on sidewalks and streets, through crowds and around traffic. What a great way to move. read more

Established in 2008.

After an inspirational trip to Madrid, Ivo, the founder of the company, decided to take a step further for the the touristic industry of his homeland, Sardinia. So, in 2008,New Way Sardinia was born, which since then organizes unique and original guided tours on board of the Segway (PT), an innovative and genial means of transport. The initiative to introduce the 'Cagliari Segway Tour' has opened one and for all the gates to what will be the future of public eco-transport. Ivo C. graduated in Physical Education (PE) at the University of Cagliari and holds a PHD in Physiology from the University of Bologna. While travelling around the world with the Italian Thai Boxing team, along with his passion for sports he discovered a new passion; his passion for tourism. New horizons opened... Ivo works as a professional tour guide in Cagliari - the City of the Sun - offering superior and fascinating excursions on an innovative and eco-sustainable means of transport, the Segway PT.
