Now a retired dairy farm, Castle Hill Farm was once the second largest supplier of dairy products in Fairfield County. In spite of the farm's retired status, the Paproski Family work hard to preserve their 100+ acres through continuing the production of hay and corn fields, growing Christmas trees and seasonal vegetables. In addition to their Farm Stand, Castle Hill Farm also has a petting zoo, hayrides, a Sunflower Stroll, a Corn Maze, a Pick-Your-Own Pumpkin Patch, and other various attractions at different times throughout the year. The farm is also available to book for events such as weddings and baby showers. My family and I recently visited Castle Hill Farm to see their Sunflower Stroll. First we stopped off in their farm stand which was filled with all sorts of fresh vegetables such as tomatoes, corn, peppers, squash, cucumbers, and even local honey. We decided to purchase some delicious looking Graffiti Eggplant as well as a handmade candle that had an intoxicating vanilla aroma. Afterwards we headed into the Sunflower Stroll. Our son had so much fun looking at all of the pretty flowers and pointing out all of the bees. Co-owner Stephanie Kearns told us about other things the farm will be offering in the coming months, including hayrides, the pumpkin patch, and other Fall Fun activities. Autumn is our favorite time of year so we'll definitely be back! Get out and see the Sunflower Stroll while you still can!

This tour was definitely a highlight of our trip! Captain John and Charlie were great and all the passengers aboard had a great time! We passed three lighthouses-Peck Ledge LH, Sheffield Island LH and Green's Ledge LH. Charlie, co-captain of Captain John, had just toured the inside of Green's Ledge LH the day before which is listed on Airbnb for $6,000! He went around the ship showing everyone the floor plan. It especially exciting to be on the Long Island Sound and to see the red and white towers from Northport, since I live on Long Island!! We were able to see several different viewpoints of the sunset and osprey nests as well. Definitely recommend to residents of Norwalk AND tourists alike!

What a treat! If you live in the area, you need to put this on your summer to-do list. I've lived…read morein the area for five years but didn't learn about this cruise until this summer. Be warned, book tickets online and in advance. They sold out for day/time we wanted to take the cruise, but there were 20 tickets still available the night before. Plan accordingly. We arrived for a 3:30 cruise on a beautiful August afternoon. The cruise seemed to be full, and there was a mix of couples and families on the boat. The boat ride is smooth and relaxing. The boat staff was offering a "guided" tour, but it was tough to hear, so I gave up trying and just enjoyed the experience of being out on the water. The boat ride is about 30 - 40 minutes each way. You won't get wet, at least we didn't, and there are enough seats/room for everyone. Once you arrive at the island, you have about 1.5 hours to explore. They have a guided lighthouse tour, a small concession stand, a small beach (not one that you would lay out at, so no need to bring a suit), volleyball courts, nature trails, etc. This entire experience is set up to be calm and relaxing. There isn't too much to do on the island, but that's kind of the point. You are only there for 1.5 hours, and there's no way you can get that bored in that period. Just unwind and take in the scenery for a few minutes, it will clear your mind. They offer limited food at the concession stand, but you can always bring your own snacks as well. Next time, I will bring a few snacks for us, especially since our trip was over dinner time. The bugs - BEWARE. They don't spray for mosquitos, and as a result, they are everywhere. I didn't know bugs would be a problem in advance, but the cruise provides spray upon arrival for free! I brought my own SPF, but they also provided that as well. The staff is lovely and do anything they can to make your experience as pleasant as possible. This is the perfect low-key day trip, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

One of our…read morefavorite things has been the early dismissal program, my daughter loves the option of going to play and explore versus coming home to watch me work. The staff and volunteers are very consistent and caring with the kids and most importantly make sure that everyone is safe. We spent many years visiting - since my 5th grader was still toddling! One piece of advice - Everwonder has lots of rooms, animals, and engaging activities. It's only fun for everyone if the parents / guardians are supervising the kids well and not letting them run off. I've seen some kids get kind of out of hand.

She screamed at one of the parents in a nasty and unprofessional way and aggressively yelled at children when their parents weren't nearby, to the point that two of them were in tears, and one was sobbing so hard her mother had to console her and remove her from the building. As mentioned in my original review, accountability is not their strong suit. I'm happy with my decision not to return and will be sure to spread that message. During a time when everything is so expensive, I'd much rather spend my money elsewhere. We have visited many museums across Connecticut and have never been treated this way. The only reason we kept returning was because Ms. Robyn is an excellent educator. Other than that, the staff is horrible, and the place is falling apart. Everything is old and beat up. We are a homeschooling family that has participated in the museum's monthly classes for both Littles and Bigs, organized by our homeschool group for over a year. Unfortunately, we have consistently had negative experiences because of one staff member, Nicky Georgiano. Each time we visit, she approaches our children with a harsh and overly aggressive demeanor. While we always address any issues immediately, her behavior on November 5, 2025, was far beyond what is acceptable. As soon as we arrived, she started raising her voice at the children over small issues. When they built a fort using the museum's foam building blocks, she began shouting that someone could get hurt. We promptly had the children take the structure apart. However, just minutes later, she stormed down the hallway, pointing and reprimanding the children for running. Her tone and body language were excessively hostile and intimidating. Later, we received an email stating that Nicky had approached the children calmly, but that could not be further from the truth. In reality, she was the complete opposite of calm. She kept following our group throughout the museum, and what upset one of the children to the point of crying uncontrollably was when she yelled at them in a very aggressive manner. What made the situation worse was the director's handling of it. When I expressed my concerns, the director dismissed them, defended Nicky's actions, and insisted that "rules are rules" and "it's a liability." While I understand that safety is important, it does not excuse the poor treatment of visitors, especially children. Accountability and professionalism should be the standard, yet neither was demonstrated. It is also unsettling that staff members sit together in the office watching children on security cameras. This behavior is incredibly inappropriate and frankly very creepy. It is unfortunate because Ms. Robyn, one of the educators, is wonderful, and our children have always enjoyed her classes. However, the behavior of Nicky, along with the lack of leadership from the director, has completely ruined this experience for us. My family and I have decided not to return and will be taking our business elsewhere. Management, please review the many complaints regarding Nicky's behavior. She consistently creates a negative experience for families and is unsuitable for a children's environment.

Aquila's gives a 30-minute grace period, which helped since the area gets very dark at night and the roads are narrow. I knew ahead of time there would be a lobster food truck and a live salsa band. When you arrive, you check in with the hostess, though there's no clear hostess stand since she's stationed at the end of the bar. The inside was crowded with no available seats, but we weren't there for the band anyway. Our igloo had a heater, but two would've been ideal. They recommend bringing a blanket, which I forgot, but it wasn't too cold--around the high 40s. We tried the "Sweet Wine Flight," which included Sparkling Rosé, Moscato, and white and red wine slushies. The white wine slushy was my favorite. It started raining while we were there, and everyone with fire pits cleared out, so I was extra glad we chose an igloo. They offered a cheese box, but it looked too small, so we stuck to drinks. Our server was polite and brought everything out quickly. Reservations give you two hours, and we had a great time. I like the variety of reservation options they offer. For suggestions: it would be nice to have a real charcuterie board instead of tiny cheese and veggie boxes. The indoor space could also be larger, especially for people coming for the live band, and there are no seats around the bar. Overall, though, it's a cozy spot, and I enjoyed the experience.

Anthony started with he smells smoke, that was my mom who was a huge smoker. Anthony picked up my dad having 2 brothers but he sees 6 children like the Brady Bunch. Between me and my sister, and my 4 cousins, there are 3 males and 3 females. Anthony also asked the connection to Pennsylvania. My whole family on my dad's side lives in Pennsylvania. And the topper was he saw people sitting around the table playing poker. My grandmother, mom and uncles always played poker when we visited. We were the only NYkers! There was so much more validations, some brought my daughter to tears!
