I used the on-line booking form for Newton Taxi Company, but didn't follow-up with a phone call. I should have done this, particularly since there was no automatic text/email confirmation. By 7 AM (for a 6:30 AM pickup), no one had arrived, and I called the main number, with no answer. I left a message, with my phone number, asking about the driver, but had no response. I ended up driving myself to the airport. Surprisingly, I never received a phone call over the subsequent days to follow-up on the missed booking. If you want to take a chance with this service, be sure to call for making/confirming your booking - do NOT trust the on-line booking form. The actual drivers may be good (I never met one), but the customer service is absent.

They can take schedule ahead, but sure, I can call them later to see how long it would take for them to get a taxi to me. They've always gotten me to my destination in time and in comfort. About half a mile down the road I see a teeny tiny sign on the back of the passenger seat that says "no credit cards." Are you serious? You don't take credit cards? Mind you it's 12am. He pulls over, lets me out IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD, and I walk 2.5 miles home. A 23 year old female, at midnight. My experience has been that often no one is in the physical office, and they do not answer their phones. If I am lucky enough to find a driver on my own, they are kind of rude and what should be a quick ride ends up being a somewhat expensive. As the main taxi service by the T stop in newton, I expected much more.
