Did all the permits and Alex came by daily to ensure we were happy with each phase. Removed a previous patio, added a new large Cambridge paver patio with retaining wall/two steps, added lighting, two additional walk ways, and worked seamlessly with Well Done Paving Contractors to connect the pavers to our new driveway. Called based on reviews here. Got a response. We talked. Said they would be out to see what needed to be done. 2 days and a man showed up. Was pleasant and went over everything. Said he would meet us at the place where he gets his trees, bushes, etc.. We agreed to Sat. He was to text us location and time. Never did. So I called. The person I originally talked to answered. He apologized. Said the person who came to see us was his brother. He apologized again and said he would call him right away and I would hear back. Saturday came and went Called again. DON'T EVEN CONSIDER GIVEN THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY!! In October 2017, we used New Star Landscaping to re do our front lawn. The house that we bought had a jungle in the front yard. There were bushes, trees and rocks all over the place. Before we hired New Star, my husband, family, and myself ripped out ALL the trees, bushes and 1/2 the rocks. We hired new star to dig out the roots, level out the soil, remove the rocks, add a flower bed, and to put down grass seed because I was now pregnant and unable to help with the hard labor. New Star came in and did the work and at first it looked like they did a great job. Fast forward to the Spring of 2018 and the lawn looks AWFUL!! First of all we had well over 40 flowers bloom on my lawn, so they obviously didn't take out the bulbs like they were supposed to. They also didn't do the flower bed correctly and by the time spring hit, I had a massive amount of weeds. The lawn is also so lumpy that my son can't even walk on it. It isn't flat in any area. When my husband contacted them about this situation and gave them pictures of it, they told my husband it was cross pollination. There were far too many flowers for it to be cross pollination. My husband asked them to please come out and look at the lawn because of the other problems we had and they said they would come and never came. When my husband contacted the owner again, he never got back to him. The lawn looks like I did it, rather than a landscaping company. If I were the owner of this company, I would be extremely embarrassed of this work and wouldn't want it advertised that my company did this lawn. I already had to get the flowerbed re done and the landscaping company I used couldn't believe what a shitty job this company did and how they didn't do it correctly at all. Because this owner actively avoids my husbands calls and texts, we are now going to have to shell out more money to completely re-do my front lawn. read more
