Located one of the two main entrances to Solihull train station, Newsbreak is a small newsagents serving busy commuters. Small is the perfect word, as there's not a lot of room for manoeuvre inside the tiny premises, with almost all available space taken up by the packed shelves. The prices are fairly standard for a train station, slightly higher than you'd expect to pay elsewhere, but there's no other shops within a ten minute walk, so for many people, it'll be a choice of like it or lump it. The best thing I've found when using Newsbreak is that it has a great selection of magazines, particularly considering the size of the shop, and stocks many travel sized versions of popular magazines, which a lot of equivalent stores at other situations don't seem to, which I always find strange. read more
