I know it's not much but it's the little things that count. The staff that are here are fairly helpful and seem to genuinely care about the newspaper. The newspaper covers a range of topics that are current within Solihull from; business to current affairs and dating to sports. So it's very up-do-date, diverse and shows the culture of Solihull (and Birmingham.) I think the positive impression of news paper the needs to come through a bit more in the visual appearance here. However, I understand finances may be an issue for this.

So when I'm shopping it's an easy place to get a quick snack. I was pleased to know they sell everything a person could expect from a newsagent and the prices are good too. It's nice when a shop goes the extra mile right? Avron news does that by selling cards and gift bags! I've found this even more useful during the holidays, as like I said earlier the shop is amongst a host of others.

As you many know Hall Green is a large residential area therefore there are a lot of news agents so I think what would make Sai news stand out is having a larger selection of food and drinks and possibly sell stamps. I thought the owners were friendly as they gave a good greeting when I walked in. The prices are cheap, which is great for everyone who wants to save money and especially as I am a student.

Who knows...) was lovely - really smiley and pleasant. It was also extremely well-stocked - with anything you could ever want from parcel tape to plastic toys - oh, and plenty of newspapers/ magazines, of course. They also had a great selection of general groceries, and the shop was clean and well-presented. Probably the best newsagents I've been to in the past few weeks. Also, they seem to be very reasonably priced - for example, the chewing gum I bought was only 40p - I've paid twice that in some newsagents....

Going into a stationary shop, like WH Smith, on a busy afternoon can be annoying, hectic and…read morefrustrating with all the people around. They can also be expensive. If you've read some of my other reviews then you'll know I like it when a business goes the extra mile and does something different to make themselves stand out from their competition. Supernews does this by selling stationary as well as everything you'd expect from a regular newsagents so I think the name 'Super' suits it well. Acocks Green is a large residential area so Supernews makes a nice alternative for people to pick up stationary just before, or during educational terms. It's also convenient to pick up a newpaper, tobacco and a snack as there aren't many places that offer this in Acocks Green; unless you want to go to a cafe and pay higher prices.

If I'm every after a drink, snack, or something to read on the train, I always head here instead of the much larger Smiths down on the station concourse. Newsflow's main selling point is the surprisingly expansive selection of magazines that they have on offer, with more than their wall space seems capable of holding. The prices haven't been ramped up with the proximity to the station in mind, either (a sharing bag of sweets retails for less than £2, which is competitive for anywhere, even large supermarkets), and the staff are always friendly. Even better, there's rarely a queue, meaning it can often prove to faster to go upstairs to Newsflow and then come back down to catch your train than it is to go to the nearby Smiths and queue for five minutes.

As for the magazines they always have a few pence off the cover price anything from 2p to 10p I have noticed depending on the price of the magazine. They sell a lot of cards at fairly cheap prices when compared to other card shops in the area. The staff are nice.
