I have worked with this company over the last several years on two different homes. They have installed a total of 4 Milgard sliding glass doors and 12 windows on the homes. I have watched them on a few occasions and have seen the quality and care that is put into the installation including the sealing foam and flanging around each window. They always send someone out first to measure each window before sending the order in to the manufacturer for accuracy. All of the installations that they put in my home fit nicely. That is why I wrote this review and will keep using them in the future. read more

I had a great experience with Newpane from the estimate to completion of 22 window replacements. Nancy at the office was great at keeping me informed from scheduling to replacing a defective screen. Angel and his crew were very efficient and always left a clean work site. Lewis provided good advice on maintaining the windows after the job was completed. When the City inspector issued a Notice of Correction. Andrew, the owner, and Nancy responded very quickly and professionally to clarify the issue with the city...the correction notice was recinded. I really enjoyed the experience with Newpane. read more

We've ordered from New Pane for two different projects, an ADU and guest house. We purchased two sliders and seven windows of different configurations. Their prices and options were great. They sent clear order confirmations. And delivered the materials to the job site at no extra charge. But what I really appreciated was the small business customer service. They even hand delivered a $13 part at no charge, and exchanged it when we needed a different color. Would definitely recommend and use them again. read more

They even told me about and completed the rebate information with the manufacturer for me! The staff that installed the windows were very friendly, respectful and professional. I will definitely hire them again and have been referring them to friends. Thanks Newpane! read more

NEW PANE was excellent. The Communication, the consideration and coordinating of the purchase ( Milgard ) and install of new windows in a 6-plex in Calistoga. The office, the crew and the hands on OWNER, made this process go seamless. THEY ARE PROS! The tenants were super happy and they completed the job even a DAY EARLY! I would refer them all day long! We just had all the windows in our two-story 60s-era Davis home replaced by Newpane (Milgard) and couldn't be happier. Initial contact and communication were great, the installation crew was excellent, and communication was good. They did a great job, finished in two days, cleaned up well, and showed good judgement. We would highly recommend. read more

My next door neighbor used Newpane for putting in new windows throughout his home and had a great experience, so when I needed to replace my windows, I contacted them for a quote. Andrew, the boss, showed up and provided the very reasonable bid by the same day! His crew was great to work with, and I really appreciated how they cleaned up work areas before they left every day. We had a couple of rainy days during the installation and they were creative in going forward with some of the work during those periods. I am very happy with the overall service and value provided by Newpane! read more

Great service and pricing. Installation of replacement windows and sliding door went smoothly with no issues.

Newpane did a great job installing our 5'x10' patio door. From initial contact to completion, service was outstanding! We are repeat customers. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed read more

After receiving another estimate, it was clear that Newpane provides the quality of windows we desired at a reasonable cost. Andrew provided a comprehensive estimate of the work needing to be done, as well as knowing the building codes required in Davis. He was polite and very knowledgable and was quick to respond to questions. His employees arrived on time, were courteous, and worked well together to accomplish the installation on time and in a careful fashion. My neighbor had used Newpane previously and recommended them to me, and I'm glad she did. I wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future in another home or to recommend to others needing windows or patio doors. read more

The windows(Anderson Windows) were double pain however, they were so poorly constructed I now have condensation in between the pains, both the Anderson and New pane refused to address the issue and ignored repeated attempts to help. Additionally, New Pane said they would clean the windows after install then, refused to come back to clean. They dropped caulking all over my wood floors and the outside of the newly placed siding! read more

great product and great accommodating customer service...highly recommend this local company

Newpane in Dixon, CA is a professional business with Andrew, Philip and Nancy heading up the front office. Newpane is a pleasure to work with and no pressure sales. They gave us a very good estimate on a complete window replacement project that included a much harder "new construction" stucco wall installation. We ordered 13 Milgard Tuscany series windows with patio slider and the job took approximately 4 months to complete from the estimate date to the final payment and review. Many factors took place during our installation from material backlogs, labor scheduling with changes and final fit and finish. Pros: We are happy we chose Milgard Tuscany series windows which are temperature efficient. Newpane made no hard sell to select a higher or lower priced model. They recommended windows that fit our desires and made honest comparisons. The windows themselves are well made and easy to operate. Newpane is friendly and cooperative. Neutral: The installation schedule slipped due to labor issues as their lead stucco expert was over-booked or had conflicts. The initial phase was old window removal which took place during the last week of July and into August (some hot weather days). They swapped out each window for the new windows immediately so no concerns of long external element exposure. The stucco team started almost immediately on the window prep once the new windows were in. *One side note: your house frame will have some shifting during the window replacement due to the pressures of geometry and time. Cons: The final finish for a new construction stucco installation is going to be a challenge with stucco pattern matching or masking. Ours is very noticeable and wasn't apparent until the new stucco was painted. I can only say this was on the stucco expert to make the stucco match the original stucco pattern. This is the art of stucco finishing. We had new paint applied and can easily see the stucco patch around the new windows. Could have been much better. Overall, we are very happy with Newpane and their installation but we now know what we would do different if we had to do this again. read more

Thank you Andrew, after 6 years one of our window was leaking and you sent your crew to promptly fix it. Very professional company

This was an interesting experience being roughly 100 miles from the company that was installing my new Milgard windows. My building manager suggested I use this company since they did a great job in other units. Ordering: This was all done through email and then they sent a representative out to confirm the measure was similar to other units they had done in the building. I don't know why they didn't request the deposit at that time so I could send it back with the Newpane contractor. I had to mail them a check as I wasn't going to drive 100 miles to deliver it in person. I also didn't receive confirmation of receipt for this. The only way I knew payment was received is when I saw the check was cashed. Communication between Order/Install: The communication beyond signing the contract and taking my money was lacking. I knew the date they were coming to install the windows, but I had no arrival time or follow up letting me know they were on their way from Dixon, CA to Santa Clara, CA. Waiting for the windows to be built/shipped to Newpane took roughly two months. At this point we set an installation date. Installation: I had 3 huge windows installed which was completed in one day, but one of the panes got cracked upon The crew was clean and swept up when they were done. My only complaint is they had to load the window frames in empty and then load the glass into the frames when they were installed. There is some sort of material that goes around the glass to seal it to the frame and in my sight line I could see some material hanging down from where my lounge chair looks out the living room. Repair: Since a pane was cracked Newpane had to contact Milgard for a warranty claim to have a new pane sent out and then come and install this. Unfortunately this took two months due to Milgard/Newpane having a communication error. I emailed Michael (owner of Newpane) and got no response so I called to get more information. I was happy with just having information regarding a resolution. I know they can't product a glass pane out of thin air to fix this issue. Once the pane was received by Newpane, it was installed in record time. Overall Newpane was amazing, but I wish they had better communication through some of the process. I felt I had more questions and had to call them to figure out what was going on. They did a great job minus cracking the pane upon installation and leaving that sealant hanging in a sight line. read more

Friendly, professional, good on their word. Quality work too. Could not be happier with our new windows and their service.

We came home one day to discover a golf ball had broken one of our windows. It was a BIG window. We contacted Newpane and they discussed the various types of glass we could use to replace the window and the associated prices. Once ordered they promptly came and replaced the window and took away the old one. They were very professional and a pleasure to work with. In the interest of full disclosure, we know the owner from years of working out together at the Davis Athletic Club. A very nice guy. read more

I recently had all of the windows replaced in my house by Newpane, and I am THRILLED with the results! They look absolutely beautiful! I was so impressed with the workers who installed my windows. This is one of the most efficient companies I've ever hired. The workers started working the minute they arrived. They immediately laid tarps and garbage bags by every window before they began. My windows were all installed so quickly and efficiently. I thought it might take more than one day, and they were done in a partial day. I am so HAPPY with every aspect of my window installation, including the cost, and everyone at Newpane that I had contact with. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Newpane! read more

My opinion is that this company represents honesty in business practices. I had been told by another window dealer that most of my windows would need replacement to the tune of about 8 grand. Newpane came to my home, looked at my windows, and advised that my Millguard windows had a lifetime warranty. Note that Millguard is very busy and it took a while to have windows replaced, but I ended up paying nothing. read more

Newpane just completed replacement of most of windows and slider on my house with "New Construction" Milgard windows. I am thoroughly satisfied with every aspect of the project from price, to interacting with Nancy and Andrew in the office to the efficient and quality oriented crew who did the installation. The installation began on schedule and workers were on the job every morning at 8am. In the week since the new windows were installed, I noticed that outside noise was reduced in the house and the rooms especially on the west side of he house, were cooler. I highly recommend Newpane for windows. read more

Nancy, Andrew, and the crew are owed a huge thank you for excellent service from start to finish! The back end service via phone and email was fast and efficient. The install date was scheduled for as soon as the windows were fabricated. The install crew was *fast*, polite, clean, and their workmanship was excellent! Lastly, Nancy even took the time to walk me through how to get the promo code entered correctly. I would recommend Newpane to anyone looking for great products and service! read more

Finally, a company worth writing a review about! I am excited and extremely happy with my new windows. I hired Newpane to measure my windows and install them. The one I love most is my new patio door! The crew disposed of my old windows and left everything clean when they finished. Not to mention, they were the best of my three estimates. Both the admin staff and installers were courteous and professional. The whole team was very knowledgeable and they answered all of my many questions (lol) and explained everything in detail regarding my new Milgard windows and patio door. I would highly recommend Newpane to install your windows and the warranty through Milgard windows is hard to beat. If I could give more stars I definitely would! read more

Newpane has done two large window installation projects in my apartment complex and ad the on site manager I totally appreciate their professionalism and competence. I bought my house in the summer. Winter came, and so did wet windows every morning. Mold and Mildew start if you don't wipe clean every few days. I thought new windows for a 2000 sq foot house would be 30 - 40K! Luckily my real estate agent turned me onto Newpane in Dixon. For less than a third of what I thought I would pay, I have NEW WINDOWS!!!!!! Brand name Milguard windows! I love them. The team was awesome. They followed up on phone calls and emails, installers and measuring guys were great. Lead installer was AWESOME. I don't do many Yelp reviews, but these guys are the are worth it. I appreciate their work! read more

Good neighbors! Newpane is a local company who we have worked with many times. The experience has always been good. The people are kind and dedicated. The work is good and everything has always happened exactly when they said it would. For example, this past week, they installed a sliding glass door for clients of ours. They came out the day they said they would to take measurements, ordered the door and gave us an estimated install date. The door came in right on time and they installed the next day. The job was done so neatly that it looks great even though we haven't painted the trim yet. Excellent job guys! Thank you so much again and as ever. read more

Newpane did a really good job replacing all the windows in my house. Phillip came to my house and did all the measurements. He was able to answer all my questions and was very knowledgeable on the matter. Andrew and Nancy at the office were really easy to work with. I had Newpane replace all the windows in my two story house in Dixon. I am VERY satisfied with the windows (Milgard), the workmanship, and the price. The project required a crew of 4 - 6 workers over about 4 days--a pretty extensive project. The crews they sent were great! I was also very happy with all the information provided by Bob, Andrew, and Nancy. I asked a lot of questions! Our new windows look great and have made our house much more comfortable. A big thank you to EVERYONE at Newpane!!! read more

Excellent customer service. Timely install with a great team. Great value. I have already recommended newpane to my friends and family.

I had an amazing experience with Newpane and would highly recommend them. They did a retrofit install for my whole house. I called Many window places and they were by far the most responsive and they scheduled quickly for coming out to measure. They carry quality windows - Milgard - and all the Newpane folks I talked to knew their stuff and were more knowledgeable about windows than others I'd talked to. Turns out they also had the lowest quote! Their install crew was fabulous and went the extra mile to install things nicely and correctly. I will be recommending them to anyone who asks! Also was happy they serve Winters which many do not. And I Love my new windows!!! read more
