He made the stairs match the rest of the floors perfectly and he fixed the plaster on the wall from the damage from the carpet. He was easily accessible by phone, showed up when he said he would and was always very easy to talk to. He also had great ideas about stains and finishes. We have two young children and I wanted to be sure that our floors would be as hard and scratch resistant as possible. I can tell that this work will last a long time. However, there were visible polishing errors throughout the floor that were later confirmed by his Bona representative as areas needing to be re-abraded and refinished. After offering several dates, Byron agreed to return on December 29th to address the problem. We moved all of our furniture out of the home while we were out of town so he could properly evaluate and fix the hardwood floors, and we sent a reminder beforehand. He never showed up and did not respond to our messages until a week later. We requested a partial refund since the full cost included stain was never used and the confirmed problem areas were never repaired. He has not responded. While the floors are improved from prior, we do not appreciate being ghosted when trying to resolve legitimate workmanship concerns. The lack of follow-through and communication was extremely disappointing, and based on our experience, we cannot confidently recommend him.
