Unfortunately, the next six months told a very different story.
They took my case, signed me up with a legal agreement and other paperwork, sent me their welcome package, etc. They had me release all my medical docs, pics, and other evidence to them.
Over the months that followed, my case was passed around between multiple staff members- apparently due to high turnover there. I sent them all my medical records, photos, details about how I was injured, etc., but I never got to speak to the attorney, Jennifer O'Connell Moore, about my case. In fact, I never even met her.
After six months, when she finally did call me personally, it wasn't to discuss the case or move it forward - it was to abruptly tell me she was dropping me as a client. After first refusing to give me a reason, she finally said that she didn't believe my case was strong enough. In that six months, nothing meaningful had been done on my case at Queener Law.

Vern Ready, the attorney I hired to replace her handled my case extraordinarily well all the way through a tough, two-year process. Then, in a five-day Federal jury trial in November of 2025, the jury awarded me a $2.7 MILLION verdict against Target Corporation, determining that Target was 100% at fault- a rare finding in liability cases. My case is on record now as one of the highest amounts ever awarded in personal injury cases in Colorado, and the third largest against Target Corp. nationally!
