In my experience though it has been stale for the most part. However they have a pretty good selection of name brand snacks. They are typically clean, however I have noticed quite a few people coming in with no masks on and they have just been allowed to walk around freely inside. Also this location use to have the best prices in the area, they have slowly been creeping up. Now they are slightly higher than some other gas stations in the immediate area. At the time of this review it's $2.37 reg, $2.65 mid, $2.95 prem. There are better shell locations if you go further up. But if you are in Stamford and in a rush. They are right off the highway at exit 6. Check them out for yourselves.

This gas station isn't my favorite but it's conveniently located next to Exit 9 and is great for…read morewhen I'm on my way to work but low on gas. The reason for the low stars is because this gas station is small and it's a tight squeeze. Considering that it's next to the freeway, you would think that this gas station would be larger (and it does get a ton of business). The gas isn't the most expensive in the area but it's definitely not the cheapest. It's about 10-20 cents fewer than the truck gas station off between exit 9 and 10 but it's about 20-30 cents more expensive than the gas stations down Hope Street (not Shell). So in short, it's very convenient but definitely not your cheapest option.

I was denied service and yelled at by a rude and disrespectful attendant. As I pulled up, the left side of the gas station had cones on it, I'm assuming due to gas pumps not working. There was one car on the other side, pumping gas and I went ahead and drove up behind it. The attendant started screaming at me to back up. I asked, why do I need to back up when my gas tank is on the right side. He just continued to ignore me and yell out to go on the other side and back up. I tried to explain to him that I'm standing in exact position as the car in front of me and willing to wait. Again he ignored me and yelled out to back up, mocking me and saying, don't you know how to back up? As the car in front of me was done, there was plenty of room for it to go forward and exit, but instead the attendant screamed at me to back up and even though I did back up, the car in front just exited going forward. As I was about to go forward, to have my car filled up, the attendant deliberately ignored me and let other cars go ahead of me, completely ignoring me. I asked for the supervisor, he said no and turned his back to me, servicing other cars. This by far was the worst experience I've ever encountered at the full service gas station. I was ignored, mocked and yelled at for absolutely no reason at all! Never going back!
