This place has gone downhill recently. I used to come here as my #1 tire repair place, but the new…read moreguy who works here is an absolute quack. He must be on meth or something, because when I told him my front tire was leaking and I'd like to get it checked for a nail, he went all around my car with an air pump and started overfilling my tires. Told me he was filling them to 40 psi--without asking, of course--, I asked "why? isn't the limit 35 on my car?" and he said "ohhh, naw, the true limit on your tires is 51. I'm filling em to 40 cause it gets you better mileage." I told him that I filled my tires before this to check for the leak, but because they were all the same PSI, he insisted that my tire wasn't leaking, "otherwise it would have been different than the other ones." A week later, that same tire is 24 psi and the other ones, unsurprisingly, aren't. A guy who can't even be bothered to jack my car up and spin the tire around to find the nail will never get my business again, and hopefully this place will fire him one day, or they won't be seeing me again either.

I cannot stress enough how good the service I just received was. I had originally scheduled an…read morealignment yesterday for 3:00PM today. I was getting tires installed at a local warehouse club (for the last time) and on my way to get an alignment at Tire Source. I had to call no less than 3 times to cancel, reschedule, and re-reschedule my appointment after the local warehouse club tire techs failed to properly install my tires. I would drive for a mile then spend 5 minutes putting air in my tires on the side of the highway. Drive another mile, 5 more minutes of air. Burke and another one of his associates were incredibly patient and helpful. They ultimately resolved the shortcomings of the original install and got me on my way with a perfect alignment in less than 30 minutes. I've spent a huge amount of money on my car in the last two weeks with various vendors and mechanics. If I could do it again I would have just gone right to the source-Tire Source. I have since moved away from Akron but the attention to detail and level of service for even my small amount of business (less than $100) is unheard of. I just wish these guys would run for political office, we certainly need this level of service there. THANK YOU! To all the techs and service staff at Tire Source. I'm feeling more confident than ever for my drive to California later this week! Thanks again guys!

I shopped around for prices, and Tire Source was definitely the best priced and most reliable in the area, and worked with me on the price as that's something that I struggle with. I got my vehicle in after I returned and Tony updated me frequently with progress on my car, and had it done before they said they would. If you have any issues at all with your vehicle, Tire Source should always be your first choice.
