Our blinds were kind of old and shabby when we moved in and when we talked to her about she promptly allowed us to call 3day blinds and order new blinds for the whole place within a reasonable budget. I was recently in the market for a rental and automatically reached out to Teri due to my previous good experience with her. She had a place that I loved with more to offer and a lower price then a lot of the other rentals I eventually visited. Life changes and so did my decision to rent, but I would rent from her in a heartbeat if I need to in the future.

When showing the house, she brought her toddler with her to show it and he spent the entire time running through the hardwood and screaming into the echoing rooms. Irritating to say the least. Says rent is payable online when in fact, she hasn't set up anything for banks to transfer money into her accounts and gets defensive when asking for explanations. Never responds to maintenance requests, unsure how to give her a written request for maintenance without sending it via snail mail to a P.O. box. It took her more than 3 weeks for her to return the security deposit to us and wrote it to both of us, which is now makes it much harder to cash because my roommate and I do not own a joint bank account together. (What landlord does that? Of course we don't have a joint bank account. There is a reason why you can write "or" on a check instead of "and". The worst experience I have ever had and am grateful to be in a place that offers central air conditioning and a washer dryer (not just a "hook up" if you want to purchase your own washer/dryer) for cheaper than her place and with a place that offers prompt service requests. Stay as far away from her as possible!

Lawrence was always available and patient with questions, visited open houses when we told him about places we were thinking of making an offer on, and was a positive influence throughout the entire process. When we did get an offer accepted he went right to work and stuck to a very tight timetable set by the seller and listing agent. Lawrence got us a great 30-year rate and even was able to get the points off. Lawrence says that he chooses to work with people he likes and then he takes great, great care of them. My wife and I agree that he actually makes that a reality. I called 25 times and got a different greeting every time. Some sound like an actual human, but none of them let me leave a message. It's like the talking Barbie... you pull the string and it says a different thing every time! That's why I called 25 times, to hear the different messages. One of them just says "Yo!"... giggle Anyway, there's no way to get a hold of them to see if they have availability.
