I Stayed here last night and was very disappointed. I've stayed at many RV Parks and they've been nice. This one is not an RV park -- it's more like an RV parking lot! Sitting in the back of my camper van looking out the front and right side windows, I can see 6 RV's parked. If I stand and look out the windshield alone, there are 20! Yes 20 RV's all within view, all in a row. Six to 10 feet (maybe) apart. Super tacky for sure. Not a camping experience more of a, "we parked there and slept" last night. Never, ever again!! Total rip off for the price too. Ridiculous. Oh now it gets even better. NOT! I wrote an email to them yesterday to cancel the second night of the two night reservation I made last yesterday, and they replied with "Sorry to hear you had family troubles. There are no refunds for early departures. Please let us know if you have any other questions. " This place is an absolute rip off and a joke. Don't waste your time here. Hope this helps at least one person. Wish I would have known, I never would have booked here.

Harbor Village was clean, had great walkability to some local spots and was the perfect escape from the heat in the Valley. The camp host was so welcoming and kind and made our trip there extra memorable. We stayed at spot 7, which was a spacious spot backed up to an open space which was fabulous! We brought our puppies and although there wasn't a dog park, there was a designated spot to take them to the bathroom. The bathrooms and showers were clean which matched the pristine grounds of the RV park. The spots do cost more than some other RV parks, but honestly you get what you pay for and it was so worth it. (And as they say "location, location, location!") My kids and I absolutely loved it there and have been talking about our Half Moon Bay RV trip ever since and can't wait to return... hopefully sooner than later!

I called 25 times and got a different greeting every time. Some sound like an actual human, but none of them let me leave a message. It's like the talking Barbie... you pull the string and it says a different thing every time! That's why I called 25 times, to hear the different messages. One of them just says "Yo!"... giggle Anyway, there's no way to get a hold of them to see if they have availability.

Ocean Beach -- An Unexpectedly Emotional Visit…read more Ocean Beach was one of those stops that started off as, "Let's go check this out," and somehow turned into a moment we'll probably remember for a long time. We stopped by Sunday after hearing about the pay phone that supposedly lets you "call heaven." Obviously, we had to see what that was all about. Needless to say, it hit a LOT harder emotionally than we expected. Standing there with the ocean in the background, taking in the moment, and thinking about the people we wish we could still call was honestly something special. Ocean Beach itself was beautiful, peaceful, and had such a different energy that day. What started as a curious little stop turned into one of the most meaningful moments of our trip. Sometimes you find the most memorable experiences in the places you never expected. Definitely glad we stopped.

I will state a few things before this visit. We checked out reviews, videos and called before booking. We also came after hours and the completed checked in by phone to advise of our late check in. We were able to find our spot immediately when we arrived. The Sf rv is older and has basic amenities of a heated pool, laundry on site facility and on staff day management M-Su. There are long term tenants at this location mixed with Thousand Trails members and public bookings. This is a older resort with limited space in each site and it can be a tight squeeze due to the size of someone's rv or trailer. People keep to themselves and it's pretty low key. You can walk right out to the gated fence to see the ocean and smell the sweet breeze. You are right off the freeway HWY 1, next to a grocery store and several restaurants. Management was extremely attentive and always smiled and checked in on us. I forgot her name she worked the weekend of our stay, she gave great recommendations for Pacifica and beaches to take our little one, we took her up on a suggestion of Pacifica State Beach. We will definitely be back to visit this summer because we have a Trails membership and it is close to SF and the beaches. We deducted a star as they do not have the open recreation room as it was closed due to repair with no estimate date to reopen. They removed the child play structure. Parking is extremely limited and hard to find parking so normally will park in you're alloted space if possible.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds I've ever been to!!! Kelly and Mikal treat their guests like family. From the first time I called Kelly was so kind and helpful. I have been numerous times now and it feels like going to a little slice of heaven each time. It's clean, beautiful, quiet, and they live on site so if there's an issue they are there to help! The sites are spread out and spacious so you won't have someone right on top of you. The sites are kept up so nicely and the campground itself is simply gorgeous. The bathrooms are clean, there are several free showers, and there is firewood for sale as well. The town of Guerneville itself is only five minutes away, and there are tons of cute little shops as well as a major grocery store. There are darling little art galleries, clothing stores, bakeries, ice cream shops, coffee shops, etc. The ocean is only a 25 minute drive down the road. There are endless little beaches to stop at, as well as numerous little beachside towns with restaurants and coffee shops. You can spend a whole day exploring highway 1, then head back to your campsite to relax. I feel so lucky to only live 3 hours away and be able to head there any time I want. I'm so grateful to Kelly and Mikal for being so accommodating and kind.

Full hookups so you don't have to carry/use a honey truck and sometimes that's a huge bonus. Good number of on site restrooms/showers and code lock doors to keep out undesirables (unfortunately that's really common these days) Cameron's resturaunt is adjoined to the RV park and food is pretty good. Karaoke on Friday/Saturday evening made for a fun time. Took May grandson out biking and the access to trails coastside avoiding any need to be near a road was a super plus.
