A month later, I still haven't heard from the other company. The estimation process was relatively painless, and the estimate was received about a week after the site visit. I was told it could be up to 6 weeks before I heard from the scheduler, due to their current workload. However, I was contacted on a Friday about 2 weeks later and was told that Monday had opened up for them and that a truck with the materials was already on its way to my property. Since they didn't need anyone home when the work was performed, I agreed. When I got home from work on Monday, the job was done. There was still some debris in the yard, but they did a really good job of cleaning up. I haven't found a single nail on the ground, yet. There were 30 MPH wind gusts the day of the job, so I'm surprised there wasn't more trash scattered around my 7 acres. (I'm also surprised I didn't find roofers scattered around my place!) I hope to work with them again in the future!

He listened to me, asked me to send over pictures and he wld call me back in a few days. Well he called me back as promised with two solutions that did not involve me replacing all or most of the siding for a money grab. He said 1st he wanted to come and pick up the piece and try to color match it and option #1 was to use the color matched piece and then repair or #2: take a piece of siding from another place on the house and put the new "color matched" piece in its place. They were also much more expensive than everyone else with the same materials and process, but I wanted to do business with them because of Ryan.
