    The experience is very easy going. Not a lot of stress or flash to buy. They have tons of open table today on Wednesday night. Start time should be 6:30p but they may go a lil late. Buyin is only $15 and they have additional small strips for $20. I've come 2 weeks in a row to have a nice easy going experience. It's not like big boy halls. Plenty of parking and a nice snack shack who was serving posole tonite

    We celebrated my sister's 60th birthday at the Newark Pavilion. From my first call to Paul to inquire about the facility until the last moment when we left after the party, Paul and his staff were all so accommodating. The room was huge and could comfortably seat all of our guests, with a small stage for our DJ, plenty of room for a dance floor and a Photo Booth. The bartenders were fun and made great drinks! I can confidently recommend the Newark Pavilion as a smooth and stress free venue.

    It's a nice little place. Has a few different buildings there including what looks like a chapel. I went there for a Big Time Wrestling event and got to meet WWF/WWE Legend & Hall of Famer Mick Foley. The food was not too bad but wish they had a little more on their menu to choose from. I will go here again for another event

    The Newark Pavilion is such a great place to work with! Paul is very attentive and answered any questions we had. We had spoken to Fabio ahead of time and he made sure the bar was fully stocked with everything we wanted to make it a successful night. John is such a hard working man and even helped us set up and take down for the event. The hall was very clean and had everything we were looking for. We never had any problems with the kitchen or main bathrooms. Definitely would recommend the hall to anyone whether is a wedding reception, quince, or birthday party. All the staff on site go above and beyond to make sure you are able to enjoy the event without any worries!

    This review is long overdue! I chose this place to host my sister's Quinceañera this past January and I am so happy and pleased! Booking and planning around the venue was a breeze. Paul, the manager, was so easy to work with. He is very straight forward and told me everything I needed in order to book and presented me with all my options. Paul was super helpful and even made suggestions, was flexible and worked with my vendors. He told me he would do his best to ensure our event was a success and it sure was! They offer 2 event halls (detached) in the same parking lot. They have a huge parking lot by the way, which is great because that was one less thing I had to worry about. The main hall, which we used, is beautiful on its own without decor. It's big, spacious, has high ceilings, very clean, beautiful chandeliers, a full kitchen, a separate women's and men's bathroom with plenty of stalls, and best of all a full bar. I worked with Paul and was able to arrange to start setting up/dropping off items the night before. The day of, Paul and team made sure everything went seamlessly. The hall was open at our agreed time. All of our vendors were able to come in and set up with out any issues. The party ended at 11pm. All of our vendors came in shortly after and started picking up their things. We were not rushed to get everything out which I greatly appreciated since I was tired at the end of the night and had lots of things to load back in my car. Overall, I'm very happy to have booked my event here. Pricing was fair. Management and staff were great. They were easy to get a hold of anytime I had a question. The location was very convenient. I would definitely consider booking here again for any future events. Thanks Paul & team!

Restrooms inside are super clean, well maintained, and upgraded. High ceilings. Must love the space. There are plenty of free public parking spaces all around the area/on streets/parking lots. Yes, there are also homeless folks living nearby these nicer modern buildings and newer apartments in the neighborhood. Event space is ideal with kitchen and rooms to choose from for private event sessions. Beautiful landscape outside. You can also walk down the block to a Korean food hall place near other community restaurants. Not far from Mega Mart and smaller retail stores. Government offices and medical offices are walkable distance to/from the event center. City did a great job beautifying downtown Fremont area. Lots of potentials here. There's usually a few staffs working inside. The larger room with stage setting can host large wedding parties too. Looks and feels great being inside. Nice.

The AC was set way too high and staff refused to adjust it, making the room uncomfortably hot. Only two staff members were present--one part-time and the other unwilling to help. Nearly every request we made was dismissed. After the event, even though we had cleaned up and bagged all trash, we were asked to vacuum the venue ourselves. We've booked this venue before without problems, but this time the service was unprofessional and unacceptable. Definitely not the level of support you'd expect from a city facility.

You have to do the work of setting up and…read morecleaning up but it's reasonably priced and they provide tables, chairs and they have a small kitchen/fridge/stove for your use and bathrooms in the hallway. I stopped by one morning and Marisa at the front office helped me with a few items, from giving me the tour to guiding me through the rental process and she was very friendly! The center itself is humble, so not really for a wedding or anything fancy but great for baby shower/birthday parties etc. It has plenty of parking and they only rent out to one party a day so no one else is in the center except you and your guests. You are not allowed to hang/tape anything on the walls so you have to get really creative with your decorations. Our fiesta themed party turned out great and some of my family stayed behind to help clean up which made everything go faster so we were out of the center on time. I forgot the man's name who opened/closed the hall for us on the day of but he was really helpful and showed us where things went. I would rent this place out again for future parties. I emailed Mulakat Hall and received a response back that same night. The next day I called to setup a time to view the hall and Alka was kind enough to meet me at a time that worked for me. Booking & reserving the date was so simple and I had asked about decorations, food, drinks, music, etc and to all she said YES! Even better round and rectangle tables that fit about 6 to 8 people each (I would say 6 comfortably) and chairs are provided. You definitely get your bang for your buck: refundable deposit + affordable hourly rate with tables and chairs included = WINNING! Hall - The hall itself is a clean, open space, with 2 restrooms, and a tiny kitchen area with a sink & I believe there was a microwave & small refrigerator. Since we had ordered party trays of food, we didn't need to use the kitchen area. I would definitely suggest taking that into consideration if you plan to serve food. Decorating - Be creative with the space & I believe your options are limitless. We used the little stage with a DIY photo backdrop made of PVC piping and decorations for the gift area. We used another table for the cake, favors and candy bar by the back door. In the front (off to the left side after you walk into the hall) we used that area as a beverage bar. Now add some tablecloths + a simple centerpiece and this place comes to life. Clean Up - We put the tables and chairs back where we found them (storage room), took out our belongings, took out the trash (big trash in the parking lot) and swept. A man came to lock up the hall and asked how everything turned out - GREAT! I would recommend bringing the following: trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, painters tape, fishing wire, scissors, etc. It made the event run so much smoother by planning ahead for the unknown. Our original location was outside but with all the RAIN, we made a decision to change the location with only a 10 day notice. Alka soothed the stress away by making the process so simple - THANK YOU!     I booked this place for my daughters 30th birthday from 10am 5pm I found this place on line by the…read morephotos on line I thought this would be a great place turn into a nightmare. I went and looked at the place a week before my event and it was dirty I called to make sure the place would be clean the guy insured me it would. I told him I had a cleaning business and would clean it he told me he had a regular cleaner Michelle who called me a day before my event who also insured me the place would be cleaned, when I arrived the place looked like I had seen it a week earlier I called the person in charge of renting the place and the wife attitude was nasty she told me I needed to calm down Michelle would be there and hung up in my face I called Michelle also and she told me something came up she would come after she run some errand. I had to go get my cleaning supplies to clean the building myself, Michelle came to clean at 11;30 my event was to start at 12pm I was half way finished cleaning. This is also an office space with different businesses inside, I will never rent here again I wouldn't recommend anyone renting this place!
