It's a good museum with a wide variety of British planes (Lightning, Shackleton, Sea Vixen, and so on) and ones from different countries such as the Saab Drakken and Viggen, and Dassault Mystere IV. They also have the nicest looking outdoor Vulcan that I've seen. I did not try out their cafe, but that looked to be a good setup.
That being said, there were times where it felt like they tried to cram too many aircraft in one area, and other times where they kept you so far away from the planes that you really couldn't enjoy them (such as the Saab Viggen). Also, being asked if you paid for admission while you're browsing the store is kind of off-putting. Maybe they need to employ stickers or something that makes it easy for the employees to know who's paid and who's not. read more
