Cheeseburger sub
Stacie R.

This is what they call cheeseburger sub. An overcooked hamburger that doesn't even fill the sub roll. And absolutely no toppings whatsoever.. the amount of pastrami in here only filled half the sub roll. This is an utter joke! I understand costs are going up, but instead of screwing over your customers how about you just increase the price so we at least get a full meal. First and last visit.

Italian Cold Sub

Ordered an Italian sub with everything and hots, a steak and cheese sub with onions, and small buffalo calzone. Everything is so delicious!! The subs are HUGE. This is our new go to place for takeout !!

French Fries, Pepsi and Cheeseburger sub

I have to start out by saying this place is under new ownership and the new owner is doing an amazing job! Hopefully Yelp can help them get a new profile or void out the old reviews so these guys get the number of stars they truly deserve. They should also do some advertising to show they are under new ownership because I can tell you a lot of people avoid them because they don't know there was a change. I have ordered three times since I found out about the ownership change and have been fairly satisfied with each order. So the new and approved New York Pizza of West Bridgewater is outstanding! The subs are one size and HUGE! They are very generous on toppings! The bread is fresh has a nice crusty outside and a soft chewy inside, so good! I ordered a cheeseburger sub today and it was bland so I definitely recommend asking for seasoning. The greek salads hit the spot and the fresh in-house pita they make is amazing... order extra!! They have crispy battered fries and they put them in paper containers, not styrofoam, so they aren't soggy potatoes sticks when you get them home! I'm not big on salt but the fries could use some seasoning as they are plain. They have hand toss NY style pizza. The crust was cooked just right. We got a Buffalo Chicken pizza and it did not come with sauce so not sure how their sauce taste. They are generous with the toppings which makes the $17 12" pizza justifiable. They have unique pizza specials like a Mozzarella Stick pizza which is on our list to try next time! They turn around orders fairly quickly and haven't missed anything when delivering! We'll definitely be back again and look forward to trying the Mozzarella Stick Pizza! Chicken Fingers5 Piece Chicken Fingers Dinner

Pepperoni pizza is pretty damn good. It's different from other places in style. Dough is a bit chewy but it's tasty.

Horrible go elsewhere! Really bad, undercooked slop. Bad customer service. There are lots of other places to go for pizza.

J's Flying is a must go to! You get some of the best bar pizza around and you need to figure out where to eat it. Don't know what a bar pizza is? Then go J's Flying and be amazed. Please note, you may get a busy signal a few times. DO NOT let that stop you from phenomenal pizza! Be persistent. Whatever you order will be out of this world. My recommendation, whatever you get add another cheese pizza for your ride home but just don't mention it to the family!

I was super intrigued by the idea of what did this operation look like? It's a full fledged kitchen in this guy's garage. I am even more intrigued after leaving the establishment about the guy who makes the pizza. He had a Barstoll magnet on the fridge so I tried to engage in conversation. He seemed annoyed, I wan ted to know if Portnoy had been there. He said some guy came in while he was cutting the grass and he didn't know who he was. I quit while I was ahead. I saw he wanted no conversation. Bummer because a garage pizza establishment for me would include a good garage transaction! That's why they are at 4 stars. Pizza is delicious! Cooked how we ordered (well done) and it all works well together. Right amount of sauce and cheese. Tasted amazing but I have to say this is not my top bar pizza place, it snuck into number 2.

And so suddenly I was driving the dark, mostly abandoned streets of Brockton around 8:30 on a Sunday night, wondering if I could find something to eat. I was almost ready to give up on my search, which was seemingly fruitless, when I saw the sign for Cape Cod Cafe up ahead, and also saw its proud sign for "The Original Bar Pizza," and that seemed like a very powerful beckoning to enter. Very authentic industrial age New England vibes, I was fortunate to be "double-teamed" by two excellent waitresses, who nodded knowingly when I admitted that this was my very first time at the establishment. I was immediately encouraged to try the Greek salad, and (of course) a bar pizza. The Greek salad was very good, and although allegedly a small salad, after I had finished eating it, I had little room for the bar pie, which was roasted red peppers, onions and linguica. It arrived with awesome caramelization around the edges, and I managed to finish inly one small slice before packing up the remainder. All very pleasant and delicious, but I decided that I would have to pass final judgment on the following day (today). Phenomenal bar pizza--quite possibly better than my favorites at the formidable Lynwood and Town Spa! Not cheap (with a Sam Adams draft, tax and tip it was over $40) but very worth it, as the leftovers were a full additional meal today. As for the pizza, the waitresses and I all agreed that the pizza there is like the best of Chicago pizza (caramelization and very fresh ingredients) without all of the dough and senseless calories, married with an A+ Boston South Shore bar pie. So I now realize that although I had never before heard of Cape Cod Cafe, yet another gaping hole in my education has been properly filled!

I was referred to Cape Cod Cafe for their pizza by a few locals, so I figured I'd give it a try…read more The inside of the restaurant is nice. It appears clean, it has ample seating and a nice bar, and the staff was friendly on both of my visits to the establishment. However, the pizza wasn't as good as I was hoping for. It wasn't "bad" by any means, but it was in line with what I would consider very average pizza. On top of that, their pizza menu has a fair variety of odd combos, but lacks some of the classic pizzas I feel many people favor. While the dining experience was good, I would probably refer clientele to another restaurant if you're on the hunt for mind blowing pizza.
