One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. It is a large restaurant with a large bar area and also a dining room. Very clean place as well, although the bathrooms could use some work but they were clean. Honestly on that front it is more of a code thing in a lot of towns that make that an issue at a lot of places. The food is very good here. The pork fried rice, bone in ribs and wings are definitely a go to. The service is great as well. Drinks are a must here as well whether a Mai-Tai or a Captain and Coke. You can't go wrong. Picked up food on a snowy night. Everything was cold. Tasted old and was left over from lunch buffet. Awful.

I sat alone while my wife used the ladies room where she procured the attached photo. I'm not sure what's going on in that drain...and I don't want to. We resisted the urge to don our sanitized gloves to open the menus. Everything at this place was skanky, from the entrance to the bathrooms to the ambience. I cannot speak to the service or the food. My wife and I deliberated a full 20 seconds before making the choice to leave with our health intact. This is my go to Chinese restaurant. The portions are generous, the food is delicious and the service is excellent. What's not to love?

I feel compelled to write a positive review, because their negative reviews are actually hilariously overwhelming. But I do go here for karaoke sometimes, and it's fun. One time I went on a Saturday and an elderly lady fell on the floor and couldn't get up, but the staff was so friendly, and an ambulance came and carted her out. Her friends stayed, and that was weird of them, but I'm not reviewing them (if I were it would be an enthusiastic two stars). It was weird how many elderly people were there on a Saturday night, and many seemingly weren't drinking. I theorized to my friend that a nearby home packed the bus for weekly visits to karaoke at "The Yee". If they don't, then maybe they should -- it would be a good idea to get them out of the home and experience something different, as well as keep them in touch with modern culture (music, fashion, etc.) I definitely suggest going, but they don't do karaoke on Mondays anymore! read more

I will never order from grubhub any food from Yee Dynasty again. I order a combination plate. The crab ragoon was not even fried, it was doughy. My chicken wings were overcooked and dry, it tasted like you were eating cardboard, same with the chicken fingers. The chicken on the stick did not taste like chicken and was stingy. Forget the pork fried rice, it was like it was cooked and recooked several times, there was no pork in it and gummy. Their food use to be good but no more. The food and waitstaff at Yee are really great. I love them. However, the ambiance is overbearing if you don't sing karaoke and if you DO sing... well... your Karaoke system is a horrific disaster and incompetent, lazy DJs are costing you money. There are also many people who refuse to go there and listen to horrible karaoke singers that are singing on a horrible system with lame, lazy, incompetent DJs that don't care if people are waiting to sing or if they sound good or if they are spending tons of money to sit there and listen to crappy sounds blaring from the speakers. In fact, you might have MORE business if you got rid of it. But you would get the most business from upgrading your system and/or hiring competent DJs that interact with the crowd and get them to stay while they are NOT singing as well as give them a reason to stay because when they DO sing, they at least have good sound and good karaoke sound tracks. I have been in bands, sang in karaoke venues and been a Karaoke DJ for years. I know many DJs that would love to straighten out that mess but I hear you don't pay well enough for a real DJ? The sound there is horrible - the microphones are held together with duct tape, the speakers pop and sound overloaded and the entire sound is like the PA system in an old gymnasium. I brought several singers with me last Saturday night and the DJ had terrible song versions, had to restart songs twice for one singer and THREE TIMES for another singer (Who I know is an amazing singer) because it was a mess. THEN the DJ said he was having technical difficulties so he farted around for over a half hour (after only FOUR people sang) and when he was done - HE SAT AT THE BAR FOR 20 minutes!! So we left. All of us. Our group (only 4 people) spent nearly $250.00 between the four of us that night and only sang ONE song each that wasn't interrupted (although the sound was still horrible). We will be spending our $200+ somewhere else. Imagine the money you are losing if every person spent $35-$50 each? Do the math. I don't know what you pay your DJs but I can tell you a good DJ will bring more money in. Ditch the lazy, incompetent DJs and you will make a lot more money - at least on Thursday - Saturday nights. Manchester is LOADED with Karaoke singers now. There are probably four times the number of them as when you first started doing karaoke. Yet, the 60- 70 singers I personally know don't go there. And at least a dozen will say it is because the DJs are Lazy and incompetent and don't care if if you get a chance to sing - or how much money you spend while waiting to sing. Go to The Barn or to Wa Toy or many other venues and listen. You will be amazed at the crowd they attract and the money they spend! I have dozens of friends who would LOVE a place to go sing and drink and eat on any given night but they all say "Oh, Don't go to Yee - they have horrible karaoke". Got a wonton soup and, combo plate of shrimp with lobster sauce with some appetizers. Everything was gross. Wonton soup: broth tasted like salted water and tasteless wonton meat with yucky thick skin. Lobster sauce had no flavor! A small buffet for lunch ($6.75) & dinner ($8.95/$9.95 Fri-Sat) is offered in the main dining room. The buffet features 17 basic items such as lo mein, fried rice, egg roll, crab rangoon, lobster sauce, chicken & peanuts, chicken & broccoli, fried chicken wings, chicken teriyaki, spare ribs, hunan shrimp, egg drop soup, hot & sour soup, & bread. I was seated in the main dining room and given complementary hot tea and ice water. I decided to try the food on the dinner buffet. The hot & sour soup was spicy. The buffet food was very greasy and sitting around for a while, the quality not very good but very filling. If you want fresh food, then order from the regular menu instead of the buffet. I've never had a bad experience with the food here, the food is relatively good. However the experience we recently had has me thinking twice about the staff members. Last night, New Year's Eve, my bestfriend who lives with me ordered food. The delivery driver came to our door around 11:30 PM; someone in our neighborhood had been firing off fireworks, and our timid dog was very scared. When the man knocked on our door; our dog did what dogs do; and barked. Upon opening the door; the delivery driver made an off handed comment about our dog barking. My bestfriend answered politely stating that she was scared of the firework. Our dog was far behind her in our kitchen and it was at this time the man looked around her, and must have realized that she is a Pit. He then proceeded to look at my bestfriend and say "yeah keep it inside, I don't want to be the next victim". My bestfriend has no idea what to say and just stood there dumbfounded for a few moments. My dog is one of the sweetest kindest dogs you'd ever meet, she'd never hurt a fly. It was a small comment, but I wouldn't tolerate that type of stereotyping from ANYONE, especially someone who is simply bringing food to our home and nothing more. This felt like an extremely inappropriate comment for the driver to make and has left a very bad taste in my mouth about the entire establishment. I like to think that maybe the driver was just in a bad mood or having a bad night; but it felt like such a nasty comment to make. Okay, so I am normally quite generous to Chinese restaurants, I don't expect terribly good quality. This place made me physically uncomfortable with the disgusting quality of food. The only thing that had decent taste was the teriyaki chicken. I tried to eat different things but I took one bite and just couldn't out of fear I would get food poisoning. The soda was watery, the service was mediocre, it's self seating and there is nothing to tell you that, I stood in the entry way waiting for five minutes before someone told me I could sit anywhere I wanted. I'm simply tacking another 2 star review onto this oversized dive bar that calls itself a restaurant. Yelp has this one down to a tee. Do not eat anything, the food is awful. All of it. The only people who would eat this stuff are the regulars who drink themselves dumb and need something to soak up their insides. The drinks are strong and the prices for them jacked up. They have karaoke 7 nights a week, it's packed solid on the weekends and this is where they make all their money. The service is friendly, but slow and inefficient, On a Friday night they had one waitress for literally 30 people, so the slowness is on management for not having enough people on rather than the waitstaff itself. Friends of mine came to Manchester for a hilariously dumb ghetto photoshoot featuring me in cornrows and shorts in the middle of the blizzard of 2014. I looked like an idiot. Who I presume is the owner pipes up, "You have to have IDs to go in there!" "ok, we just want to have some food and drinks," we say. "You have to have IDs!" says owner "yeah, we get it. can we see a menu?" "There's a guy who has been waiting for you this whole time! *points to nondescript, quiet-as-a-mouse employee behind us* Go with him!!!" Wow, what a RUDE DUDE. There's like 5 people in your restaurant. Why are you acting like we're inconveniencing you? To note, our waiter was extremely pleasant and I wish I had read his name on the name tag to give him props. Thank you, waiter, for being kind and unobtrusive during our silly pictures and for giving us proper service. We order a pina colada, some other drink, lo mein, and wonton soup. Waiter takes our IDs, checks them, leaves. Then, the blonde bartender coolly walks over to our table and demands our IDs again. She says, "I don't care if you've already shown them, I'm the one making your drinks," checks them, then walks off without saying a word. I would not have given a damn if she had asked politely. Her holier-than-thou and unapologetic demeanor was unacceptable. Because I'm younger than you and wearing shorts and Timberlands in a blizzard means I deserve to have you talk to me like I'm the underage Elephant Man? Wonton soup tasted like nothing. Lo mein was mediocre. Go to Heng Won for takeout in Manchester. You know what, I'm sorry if your staff are a jaded and tired lot from being treated poorly by other guests, but customer service goes a long way when you serve entirely underwhelming food.
