I was especially impressed with how clean he kept everything--if you've ever had sheetrock sanded, you know how dust can get everywhere, but that definitely wasn't the case here. The dust was minimal, which made cleanup much easier and was greatly appreciated. My ceiling looks as good as new!

He is sincerely interested in ensuring that his clients are happy with the paint job he performs. He is also hands on which I appreciated - he does the estimate, does the painting and takes the payment which is better than other providers where they simply do the estimate and do not do or even oversee the work in some cases. He is also much more reasonably priced than other painters in the area probably because he is hands on. I would recommend working with Omar. He was also patient with me as I struggled a lot with picking out paint colors. He is a very kind and nice person and that counts for a lot a well.

This is an addendum to my prior review, the painting work was excellent, clean and neat and the…read moreprice was fantastic. However, it is a fact that Randy and his team did not come back to paint a small area that they missed. In the grand scheme of things, it was not a big deal, and perhaps Mr.Gross did lose his cell phone as he told me, but he still didn't reach out or come to the house to let me know what had happened. I had no way of knowing that the cell phone was missing, so I assumed Randy went on to other jobs. In any event, his work does deserve 5 stars, because I was and are very, very happy with the kitchen. This may all just add up to be an unfortunate misunderstanding.

Hiring Randy Gross of RG Painting to paint the exterior of my house was the biggest mistake I ever…read moremade. He took my money, did terrible work and abandoned the job half-way through. After being jerked around for several months I took him to Beacon City Court where the judge ruled in my favor. Randy's a deceitful person who I wish I never met. Regarding his work, Randy sprays the paint on the house, however he does not use a brush to smooth it out. Instead, he sprays and walks away, the result being several blotches and an uneven coat, looking terrible. Nor does he cover the trim while spraying the house, all the window, door and chimney boarders are covered with excess paint, looking sloppy and unsightly. Also, once Randy took my money he basically disappeared. I received several texts that he'd call me, or stop by, but it was all a farce. There was always excuse-after-excuse as to why he couldn't speak to me. I suspect Randy is a contractor on the financial edge. While the judge ruled in my favor I've still not been paid. And looking back, I should have gotten suspicious when I noticed that whenever I gave him a check, he rushed to my bank and get cash. Other contractors make a deposit in their business account, but not Randy, he always got cash immediately. That tells me he needed the capital to move on to his next job, even though he was less than half-way through with my home. Finally, I also learned that another client took Randy to court in the Town of Wappingers. I read the complaint and it's very similar to mine. In essence, Randy Gross and RG Painting should be avoided. Don't make the same mistake I did.
