I've only visited another local womens consignment shop before this and was a little scarred by the dingy, disorganized environment. This store is clean, super-organized and stocked with higher end clothes that don't look like they were ever worn before. The owner, Jackie, is very friendly and helpful. I feel as though I could need a specific outfit for an event, stop in here and find it with her help. I can rarely do that at stores like TJMaxx or Marshall's, so it says a lot. I can't wait to visit again!

Alfred's is an East Bay icon for folks of discerning taste looking for unique pieces, and I am glad we stopped in on a recent trip across the bridge. This shop has everything- jewelry, housewares, bed frames, books, clothing, and an extensive selection of holiday-themed goods. We visited in November, and their Christmas selection is plentiful. If you are looking for some cool items to celebrate the festive season, Alfred's is a must visit. The staff was helpful in our many inquiries, and we appreciated their attention to detail and kindness. The pricing varies, however, the items are all very high quality and some items are rare, so you do pay for quality. I would encourage any antique enthusiast to add Alfred's to their list!
