Now, I've had laser so I'm not a hairy beast but figured I needed to write a review about my experience anyways because Maria is very professional and made me feel very comfortable. Temperature was very comfortable and warm because it was freakin cold and rainy outside. Wax was warm, not hot and she wore gloves, very sanitary. The table had a paper over the sheet so that was a plus. Conversation was easy and not forced. Maria is the real deal. She's really sweet and knowledgeable about skincare in general and makes her own products. Ladies, if you are having any skincare issues, come see her!! You will not be disappointed!! You can text for appointments and she gets back to you quickly, even on her "closed" days. You know she's awesome when she's known as "the longest relationship" for women.

It hurt like hell. I wish I'd used that numbing cream she sells in the front first. I found myself in some weird positions, but she acted like a mother changing a diaper for the bazillionth time. It was nothing to her. Wow, what a weird analogy. I don't wear diapers, FYI. I assumed all brazilians were very thorough and they charged extra for numbing or something. Stupid little me. Well, I was surprised how quick it was. A few little hairs were left here and there. I was told most salons use tweezers or re-apply the wax strip quickly and it removes most of the remaining hairs. I had to go home and touch up and wash some wax off. All in all, I'm going to say it was the BEST place to get a brazilian. She charges WAY less than ANYone I've seen. Also, I don't know if this is supposed to be a secret or not... But after you've received a brazilian from Maria once, she charges you $35 instead of $50 for every visit thereafter. Nice, eh? Tell the people charging $80 to torture you and your vajenga about THAT!

The process was super quick, I made my appointment for a few weeks later because her weekends are pretty booked up! So keep that in mind when booking -- it is worth the wait. Aly was so nice. She was knowledgeable on all questions and was so soft. Even her voice is soothing as she does your service, you don't even realize you're getting any extractions done. ALSO she doesn't just leave the room when the mask is sitting. I've never had an esthetician take time to massage my neck and hands while my facial sits, it was awesome. I booked 2 appointments back to back, a Facial and then a facial + peel. I will come back to review the facial + peel portion after my second appointment! 10/10 recommend, I make a 40 min drive to come here and will continue to do so!
