Many diverse shopping and eating opportunities. Palmer's Steakhouse, Zesti , the Phoenix, and Creole Cafe are only a few of your options. Piggly Wiggly is less than a mile away . Also Nixon Park is a great place to go walking and enjoying many activities they have . One we enjoy is free concerts during the summer . They have underground parking so you don't have to worry about taking your car ! If you want quite surroundings you can have that , or if you still want to enjoy nite life you can do that too . I enjoyed the residents, the delicious luncheons given by Nancy and Byron, the two libraries, easy access to exercise room, plus computer room. Nancy and Byron made sure that all was well at the Meadows, and so many visitors commented on the lovely decorations in the lobby. There was coffee hour three times a week, Thursday night Happy Hour, and often times residents went to Friday Night Fish Fries. One even sat with my mom when she could sense my mom was feeling very down. The HUC on the rehab floor is Fi and she is amazing. She has everything scheduled for you before you know you need it and has transportation to and from appointments as well. All of the staff was very friendly and easy to communicate with. If a loved one needs rehab and Congregational Home is a choice you have, choose it.

Poppa's temporary home…read more.. Pretty standard for a nursing home type facility; splendid smell comes at no extra charge. There's a lot of coughing, a lot of "help me, help me" and a few strange patients including, but not limited to a) the whistle guy who, you guessed it, is ALWAYS whistling, b) the lady with purple headphones who just turned 100 who wants to know who drew the "no smoking" sign and c) the lady who repeatedly asks, "what if there's a fire?" Cool place, but let's hope Poppa (what I call my Grandpa) can return home soon. Until then, bring on the wheelchairs, hand sanitizer, oxygen tanks, and crazy cute old people.

Well now that I/we have had to utilize this property for rehabilitation/assisted living for my Mom, it is absolutely horrible. With in the first 4 days of being here, our Mom fell multiple times, she was placed in quarantine and no one could visit her to see what was actually taking place, because she came from a hospital setting. Once her 14 day quarantine was up, even with the Lasata Staffing knowing that they had a positive Covid testing of an employee, they moved our Mom to a different room, to start another 14 day quarantine. Luckily we were able to find and secure a new living facility for her, with in a weeks time, only to get her and see that her leg, ankle and foot were swollen. When Lasata was questioned no one would return call soft over a day. When they did call back they more or less said not our problem she's not enrolled with us any more. What a heartless caring staff you are Lasata - from the conference calls to now having a Mother in worse shape since her arrival to your facility proves / answers my unanswered questions - it's all about the money and the number of residents you keep- there is NO CARE for the resident or their families. Since my father's passing (after my mother was already gone), I have been struggling for eight months with the accounting department. For one thing, they didn't close my father's account (under Alexian's contract) with Time Warner Cable and I had to deal with TWC directly in person to do so. They also sent an unauthorized debit to a closed bank account, incurring overdraft fees to me. Meanwhile, Alexian owes me money at this point for overbilling by their own admission, but they still haven't repaid me. My emails and phone calls are not returned by the ever changing staff, promises are not kept, and the whole situation has been exasperating. The administration is very disorganized and completely unprofessional. I can't believe I'm still having to deal with this so long after my father's death.

I'm not Catholic, I'm giving you a sociological observation, the staff and administrators here exude sincere compassion driven by their faith. I do volunteer entertainment work so any assisted living-skilled nursing facility I review is going to be good at scheduling social activity and cultural stimulation for patients and residents, but St. Anne's seems extra special in this department. The outside isn't so attractive but the insides are clean and comfortable, the chapel is lovely and there are many friendly gathering rooms. Family and friends seem quite welcome but the most remarkable thing about this place is that the food is good, though they did foist some decaffeinated coffee on me.

You will never be able to maintain any sort of relationship with your loved one staying in this facility because it is new faces of employee week after week after week. And it is shady. They do not treat residents well or with respect. There are not enough caregivers for the volume of people whom live in this facility. Also, an employed caregiver was caught sneaking her boyfriend into the facility at night and having sexual intercourse with him on company lounge furniture and it was witnessed by residents and it went weeks without being addressed by their so called management. This place is an utter and absolute joke. It would be in ones best interest to NOT send one of their loved ones to this honestly ghetto assosted living facility and community. It is unsafe and there are plenty of better options in the Ozaukee county area.​
