In retribution, the Executive Director, Dan Silva, called Care Plus for a psychiatric evaluation for "behavior problems," and screener Michael Gorden not only believed his pack of lies but also repeated the false accusations in his report to have me forcibly removed from the facility claiming a mental health crisis. Instead of following proper protocol by obtaining signed statements from staff members that the behavior problems actually happened, this jerk signed authorization to have police take me to Bergen New Bridge Medical Center (where I wasted an entire days, eventually clearing both medical and psychiatric evaluations. Mr. Silva had locked all of the doors and refused to re-admit me, committing the criminal offense of "Patient Dumping." His sole purpose was to get me out of the building so that he could get rid of a "nuisance Medicaid patient" and Michael Gordon was his accomplice. The matter is now under investigation by the N.J. Attorney General's Office and the OSC Office of State Comptroller, and I have filed a complaint against Michael Gorden as well for taking away my civil liberties because of malpractice. Care Plus should be closed down entirely, and both Dan Silva and Michael Gorden should be in prison. Avoid like the plague!!!

They wrote me an auto response email saying they were concerned and would follow up. Have I heard from them? No. Did they post my review? No. I can't put into words how truly disgusted I am with this doctor. I wasted hundreds of dollars on him in hopes of getting my life back with the help of alternative medicine. Instead, he told me my disease was mental (I have plenty of proof that it's not), and that I should read a couple of recommended books. I'm not even kidding. At the time I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt because he seemed like he wanted to help. In retrospect, I realize how vulnerable I was at that moment, and he completely took advantage. He made me wait hours for my appointment, and then had the nerve to tell me he had children to feed (making my visit as short as possible). Ironically, his staff is WONDERFUL. They are genuinely happy to see you and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable during your visit.

He offers his assitance and suport even on his own time. He also has joined me as my advocate on visits with various specialists. He is there every step of the way. He cares about the the patient by always looking for the least invasive most cost effective solution. Additionally, he is not beholden to the medical insurance companies so he can offer an independent viewpoint. I would recommend him to anyone for their primary care needs.

The director Nick sends text messages (which you are free to opt out of) just to keep everyone up to date on hours or closing due to weather etc so you don't end up left without care. But later I realized it was alll worth it. I am still currently getting services from this place. I highly recommend Gina as a therapist. She is the best there is. She makes you feel comfortable. She understands you. She doesn't judge. She gives the best advices. She understands wen you have bad days but she pushes you to do better. She is friendly and kind. She helps you with any other resources. I come from a background where I always wanted therapy but was told by my abuser that therapy was a waste of time. I have to personally say that therapy is NOT a waste of time. If you feel like you need it. Get it. With time, you become a better person and no matter your struggles, Gina will help you get past them. I have James as my Counselor for Drug & Alcohol. James is the best. I give him a hard time once in a blue but he means well. He teaches and he makes the classes fun. He is silly in his own way and he really does want to help. He teaches and provides the tools that are needed to get pass those bad addictions. He brings the people in the group closer together. He might be tough at times with the group but I promise you he means well. He doesn't charge and even when you don't go in with a great mood.
