We had tried a lot, but were also inundated with information and were having a hard time selecting and sticking to a program for fear of doing something wrong: should we keep feeding him as much as he wanted at night? Try to wean back? Work in shifts to cover the whole night in case we needed to rock him back to sleep? Were we bad parents because we were too afraid to co-sleep and also wanted to get our own rest at night? These and other issues were what we came to Angela about. At the time, the youngster was waking at least 3 times per night to feed from a bottle, and had begun waking even more often than that and needed our help to get back to sleep at night. Neither my wife or I were sleeping well, and it was impacting all aspects of our lives. Angela helped by developing a clear plan for us, showing us what we needed to do in each aspect of the day and night and why, and answering our questions as we went through the process. This was not at all easy, and any kind of sleep training is going to be just as much training the parents as it is the child. It was very hard for both of us, and our child is very persistent so it took some time. However, the results have been worth it. He is closing in on six months and sleeps through the night - from his 7pm bedtime until 6:30 or 7am. He does not need to eat overnight, and the times he does wake up overnight or too early, he puts himself back to sleep! Naps have also become much better, we are able to put him down for his nap and accomplish things while he falls and stays asleep. This was totally worth doing, and we were the type of people who needed a clear plan and some firm coaching. We got both from Angela, and are definitely grateful!

There is so much information out there about sleep training and I was lost trying to figure out what would work best for my baby. Angela created a customized sleep plan for us that included a nap schedule, clear instructions for nighttime sleep, and even nutritional guidance. She also came to our home to support with the first night of sleep training, which gave me so much reassurance and support. Since working with Angela, my daughter is now settling herself to sleep, sleeping through the night in her own crib without any feeds, and taking great naps -- it's been truly incredible. These results were achieved so quickly during the process and I was blown away by how fast my baby picked it up. Not only is my baby getting the restful sleep she needs, but I'm finally getting the sleep I had desperately been missing since giving birth, and I feel so much more like myself again. What really stood out was how thoughtful and personalized Angela's approach was. She asked so many great questions to shape a plan based on our family's specific needs and preferences, and her daily feedback on my baby's sleep was always insightful and helpful. This experience has had a truly transformative impact on our family, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Angela to anyone looking for support with their child's sleep.

The equipment they gave me broke down and I could not do the complete sleep study. I have called so many times - starting when the machinery broke down - and I have yet to have a call returned. I refuse to pay until I get the report leading to my getting the C-pap. This entire thing has already been six months and I still have nothing to show for it. I shouldn't have to call Medicare to find out where my doctor is working from. When I know more I will report more but it does appear they are operating under more than one name. The only department that works well here is the billing department and maybe the doctor. No returned phone calls, no questions answered, no report, no prescription for a C-pap. When we called to pay, they denied it was being sent to collections as their phone calls and mail indicated, said they do a "final call" before sending to collections which is not what their paperwork in the mail each month said--it was very threatening with deadlines that we missed over and over due to lost mail. Very unprofessional and sketchy. Avoid. Sleep Quest is much better.

Before we met Alex, we were 5 years into our relationship and starting to struggle with very difficult situations that were pulling us apart. These were made worse with our opposing introvert/extrovert needs. Neither of us had strong role models in our family for successful relationships, and we were at a turning point. We were very serious about who we chose to help us. All of the therapists we interviewed before Alex had somewhat of a cookie-cutting approach to couples therapy. We felt that we could've gotten some of their info from reading a book. However from the first time we spoke with Alex, it was easy for us to agree that he was the right therapist for us. Alex treated us as individual people and an individual couple. His approach is empathetic, thoughtful, and calm. He pays attention to every detail and is tactful in all of his communication. You will see this starting from his intake form. In our sessions, he gave equal time to both of us. We did many session exercises to become aware of our individual needs. Many of the revelations surprised us and without his help, I'm not sure we would have ever discovered on our own. And he was exceptionally skilled in guiding us through difficult discussions. We were able to share scary thoughts, sometimes laughter, and sometimes tears (mostly I cried) as we became closer and more connected to each other, in each session and afterwards. My partner and I also made notes after each session, because we're both nerdy...but more importantly because we knew the information we had learned was gold. After a few months of weekly sessions, Alex told us we had made enough progress that it wasn't necessary to see him weekly anymore. But to instead, use the information we learned and schedule sessions only as needed. Today (almost 2 years later), we haven't had another session and we continue to use the tools and techniques he taught us. We are so much happier from this entire experience. We can communicate better, disagree without fighting, fight without yelling, share our love for each other in ways that the other needs and understands, and receive it in return. If you're on the fence about couples counseling, don't be. With the right therapist like Alex, and a willingness to learn, you can re-understand how to love, connect, and communicate. He is a true professional. Thank you Alex.

Maritza, my sleep tech, was fantastic. She's very knowledgeable, professional, welcoming, and friendly. It's in an older building (my favorite kind) that is kept clean and well-maintained. My sleep room was clean and comfortable. Seeing it gave me a good feeling about how this was going to go. Then Maritza introduced herself and I knew I was in good hands. The room I was in had heavy drapes over the windows, but bright lighting from outside (street or building lights) does get in through the gaps in the curtains. If you're the kind of person who likes a very dark room, it wouldn't hurt to bring a sleep mask. That's what I did and it worked well. I was hoping I wouldn't accidentally tear off some of the many wires that were attached to me, but that didn't happen. There's an easy to understand signaling system if you need to go to the restroom in the middle of the night. Really, this was great. I don't like not being able to sleep in my own bed, but thanks to Maritza, the whole thing went smoothly. The only thing that could have made it even better were if I'd gotten a really good night's sleep but then, if I were able to sleep for a solid 7-8 hours, I wouldn't have come here in the first place! I did get a few hours of sleep though, in what was a nice, comfortable bed.

She was always on time and gave us a thorough report the next day of how our guy did through the night and recommended changes to help with things. Lacy was also very reassuring and comforting with my wife during the beginning of sleep training, which was a very stressful time for us. As first time parents, it's scary coming home and taking care of a crying baby throughout the night. It was amazing having Lacy there with us twice a week for the first six weeks. Yes, the nights she came enabled us to get solid chunks of sleep to get us through the next few days -- but beyond that, she helped us establish a night time routine that we continue to use months later. She also answered questions and helped us tackle new baby issues -- such as when my baby refused to have full feeds, but would prefer to snack throughout the day. Plus it was awesome to have Lacy kindly correct us when we just didn't know certain things such as why our child refused a bottle (it was because it was in the fridge and the milk was too cold) or simply that our house was too cold and we needed to dress him in an extra layer. To be honest, a night nanny originally felt too expensive - but I would do it again in an instant. I feel like Lacy helped get my husband and me off to a healthy routine and helped set up our child to sleep consistently throughout the night (with just a few quick night feeds) during his first few months. I feel like everything she taught us has helped us get more sleep than any other new parent I know. I would 100% rehire her again if we decide to have another baby or if our child needs some sleep training when he's older.

Melissa gave me a plan, complete with exact times and gave me some options as far as soothing my daughter. I loved that she left this part up to me to decide. She also helped me with starting to wean her, which I thought would be impossible. Turns out, it was pretty easy after all. Within a week, my baby started sleeping 12 hours a night (knock on wood) and will go down for naps with very brief crying. Sure, there are days that she will not nap - but she's still in her crib playing quietly. That NEVER happened before. I hope that in the next week, we will get her naps on par with our nights. But in the meantime? I'll enjoy it! Thank you so much Melissa. You saved me, seriously. I was beginning to wonder if I would ever consider a second child. There's now a glimmer of hope.
