My wife and I took her Conscious Conception for Couples course and honestly at a very deep level we know we are ready to bring a life into this world. From her visualizations to navigating our birth stories with our parents or the homework that kept us in tune and accountable, we not only learned more about ourselves but we were able to heal so many aspects of our lives. Through talking to our parents, it was eye-opening to hear how uninvolved men/dads were with the entire process of conception, pregnancy and birth back then and how this has absolutely affected us today as a society. Or how women were told that our patriarchal healthcare system knows more about their bodies than they do themselves... to have my mom talk about my birth was a massive step on its own but for us to reconcile much of our relationship, well, that speaks for itself. Conception, pregnancy and birth as fundamentally what has been responsible for life on earth for eons of time........ this procreative process does not need more unconscious men trying to control it whether it's husbands or our healthcare system, it needs us to be MORE conscious and yet be a part of creating and holding space for the wonder and awe that it is. Kiersten has changed our lives of not only for ourselves as individuals but as a couple who will now populate our planet with much more conscious beings. I've been to several baby…read moreclasses at different places and this was by far the most educational and I think will have the biggest overall impact on my baby's development in the long run. I learned about much more than just tummy time and it was clear that Wendi knows her stuff. It's so great to see a pediatric physical therapist investing so much of her time in educating parents so they can be proactive in ensuring their babies never have to visit her for treatment! Then I had a long, hard labor (including laboring on pitocin only- no epirural- for about 5 hours). We appreciated that she was so positive and always had ideas to try. She was a huge support to my husband and I during labor. In the end, I got a c-section. Jenn came back after the surgery and helped with my immediate recovery, and helped my husband get settled with baby. I did a lot of research and interviewed about 5 doulas before booking Jenn. Jenn was the best communicator out of all. We were always so thankful and felt like she was really there for us. Thank you Jenn!

After one of my doctor appointments I had shared that although baby was in head down position, they were also "sunny side up". Immediately April shared resources in different positions that I could do to help baby to rotate and gave me positive reassurance. Although I did not have April as my doula during birth I did have the opportunity to work with her postpartum for her belly binding service. Mamas if you can, please gift yourself this amazing experience! I had the intention of belly binding with my first but never got around to it. And wow! What a difference it makes in healing. April greeted me with a warm hug and fresh flowers at our home. As she gave me a foot bath we talked and process my birth experience. The belly massage was so gentle and relaxing. Her binding knowledge gave me confidence that I can and will make time for myself to do this during my postpartum healing. So grateful for April! Highly recommend her.
