Found this place with a quick google search for IV therapy and blood withdrawal certification near…read moreme. Followed that up with Yelp and saw the extensive amount of 5-star reviews. Was I a bit skeptical? Yes lol especially since their pricing is a bit higher than other certification classes. Here is my opinion. This place is definitely worth every single 5-star review you see and read. Dr. Khan and Sylvia who teaches and runs the training classes are so friendly and knowledgeable. They provide you with all the information and skills needed to become board certified. They answer all your questions and never make you feel less for asking them. They prepare you mentally prior and guide you from start to finish on each technique needed from blood withdrawal, setting up an IV line and providing IV therapy. Then they observe your retention knowledge to be able to perform without instructions. Along with educating us on different types of equipment we might come across while working in the field. The classes are fairly small and intimate which makes the learning experience that much more enjoyable as you get to know the other students training along side you. Yes the price is higher than other training facilities, but definitely worth it. Honestly you're paying for great instructors, small class groups, night classes, and realistically; medical supplies are expensive. With that, they still provide you with a tracking number to track your certification to the board as well. This is where you say, you're paying for quality over quantity. Other than providing IV/BW therapy certification. They offer other approved AHA classes like BLS, ACLS, and even an extensive NCLEX refresher prep course. Worth checking out for a great experience.

First of all this place is a horrible environment…read more Some of the kids are out of control, don't know how to behave, and are terrible influences. Do you know why?: It's because countless parents who have bad children send their kids here thinking it will change them because its a religious school, NEWSFLASH it doesn't, their kids are the ones to change students for the worse. A few of the teachers are also horrible. There is this one particular teacher, I shan't say her name but is a horrible teacher. She complains of having migraines everyday and takes her frustration out on the kids despite being a teacher. She has blatant favoritism and ignores the ones causing trouble and puts the blame on the ones doing nothing. Multiple parents have complained about her and nothing has been done to remove her. Another horrible teacher here teaches TK/Kinder. She yells at your kids, pitches them, and belittles them. She only cares about the cheerleaders which she doesn't even take care of. When you see how she treats those little kids you will be disgusted. She throws little kids food away if they don't eat fast enough for her, a little reminder, these kids are 5-6 years old. Once I heard her bad mouthing kids because their parents forgot to pay for their midterm fee. If YOU DON'T LIKE KIDS WHY ARE YOU TEACHING THEM!!!! This brings me to the next topic:the principal. This principal has got to be one of the most mean spirited women I've met. She only cares about money, not the kids. Also the tuition is not that bad, what's bad is the fact you're charged for everything, and I mean everything. Didn't do the raffle you pay, didn't volunteer pay. They make you pay for everything that's not your fault. They DO NOT value education enough. Why are these kids worrying about art and PTO snacks when they should be thinking about their work. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with thinking about other things as a kid but why am I hearing these kids talk about having enough money for snack sales and then having bad grades, it's ridiculous. They barely challenge these kids. When I talk to other parents that take their kids to other Catholic schools I always hear about these good programs the school has:Scholarships, Clubs, Sports, Internships, this school barely has either. When I pulled my kid out I was surprised to see how behind she was compared to other kids from different schools. Their so called social studies is nonsense! My child in the 3rd grade, when I asked her simple things about social studies she didn't even know! I asked her if it was in her book and she said it wasn't?! In all seriousness don't send your kids here if you prioritize their education and your well-being. Send them to schools in Torrance or Redondo, not here.

So I took it upon myself one day and found One On One Tutoring on my cellphone by looking through the Yellow Pages. Once talking with Kim who was very nice over the phone and she explained to me how One On One Tutoring works and how much it will cost. One day I took my son in for help with Reading, English, Math and Word Building from his school. Once my son got a little bit comfortable with the tutor, he was able to do his work. After going to One On One Tutoring for 3 years now my son has made Honor Roll 3 years in a roll and he is doing a whole lot better with his work. I have seen a lot of improvement with my son as the years go by. I will continue to go to One On One Tutoring until my son finishes High School. One On One Tutoring is worth it if you need your son/daughter to improve in their school work. I highly recommend One On One Tutoring. What began as a goal to learn a trade quickly became a foundation for future business ownership, and much of that growth is credited to Mr. Raul Ramirez. Mr. Ramirez is an exceptional instructor and a true genius in automotive technology. He is meticulous, demanding, and uncompromising in his standards, yet always fair and respectful to every student. His unannounced, self-designed exams required complete mastery of the material and accurately reflected the pressure and expectations of real-world service centers. With experience at Tesla and other professional facilities, he consistently brought real-life scenarios into the classroom, teaching not only technical skills but professionalism, problem-solving, and operational thinking. While in his program, I balanced school with working as a professional tattoo artist and was honored to be selected as class ambassador. I graduated with a 3.89 GPA and, after graduation, secured a part-time position at DWP Auto Tech Services. Mr. Ramirez's mentorship and discipline provided the foundation and mindset I need as I work toward owning both an automotive repair shop and a tattoo business. I am truly honored to have been his student.
