EDIT 1/2/2025 in response to business owner comment -- I understand the need for strict no-show and last-minute cancellations, which of course are intended to recoup loses from UNRELIABLE clients. Not from clients diagnosed with cancer who are trying their best to maintain some sense of normalcy in life who have a long history of maintaining a proper client-business relationship. My treatment based on extenuating circumstances cannot reasonably be considered "understanding and flexible". It is important to current and future clients that they consider how quickly a business devalues a client, so they can make the most informed decision on where to receive these types of services. The best way to address my concerns would be to treat clients better than I've been treated. I in no way mean to harm your business. I sent them a screenshot of the conversation showing the confirmed date, and they still denied it instead of taking responsibility. The stylists are inconsistent and seem inexperienced, and they repeatedly move you from one stylist to another. One of the staff members was also extremely rude. They pressure you to purchase their products, and they even suggest bringing headphones because clients are expected to be quiet. I also had concerns about cleanliness between clients and was uncomfortable being recorded on camera without being asked for my consent. For $149 plus tip, I expect quality work, professionalism, cleanliness, and respectful customer service. Unfortunately, I experienced none of these consistently. I would not recommend this salon.
