Spacious. Prices are fair considering all goes to local programs. Multiple days offer 25% on…read morevarious items or for certain occupations. Selection was fair. I would pass on the children's selection. Men's seem to be the strongest contender of sections. Everyone was very friendly, especially the woman who checked us out.

Liberation Thrift (previously known as Love of Jesus thrift) is such an awesome thrift store. When…read moreI used to live in Southside, this was one of my go-to spots for thrifting. They have an amazing selection of furniture here. And some are really gorgeous finds. I've haven't been in the market for furniture when I've visited, but I usually find myself second guessing if I should be in the market for some with how nice some of the stuff is. This store is huge, you could easy spend over an hour in here just looking at everything. It is neatly organized into different sections, one corner has drawers, another has clothes, one has books, and the middle is filled with couches. You can find everything from kitchen appliances, to sporting goods, to even music here. There is a huge parking lot outside that always has parking available. Things are pretty fairly priced. I find that dresses are usually higher than I'd expect to pay, but nothing insane. Like I said, stuff is fairly priced, but not necessarily the cheapest option. In the times I've gone, the person working the cashier is very kind, asking you if you'd like a bag for your goods. I highly recommend checking out this thrift store for some cool finds.

Ohhh the humanity!! This store should be ashamed to call itself a thrift store with the proceeds…read more "helping" "Richmond Habitat build safe, affordable homes for local families." I have been to other Restore locations and the items were modestly priced for folks in need of used furniture, lamps, home decor, dishes, glassware, appliances, utensils, etc. This shop is hilarious! I gawked in disbelief when I saw donated items marked like a high end antique store! Ridiculous! A mirror for $100, a teapot for $125, small wicker shelves for $125 each! Dish sets for $300! Couches for $500 & $600! Despite the fact that some of their item are vintage, they are DONATED! They should not mark up the prices so as to compete with actual antique shops. I was shaking my head throughout every aisle! I'm embarrassed for them. It seems the true meaning of thrift/donation shops has gone by the wayside... taking a page from Goodwill's playbook and hiking up prices so the truly needy can't even afford used "goods" and clothes. It's a shame that the positive work this "resell" store does by providing homes to people in need is overshadowed by the exorbitant prices of their donated merchandise. There were some new items, housewares, decorations, signs, gifts, etc. but the majority of this shop was overpriced. Some coffee mugs were $2, and that's about right! I won't be coming back ever, because they are taking advantage of shoppers and the needy looking for good deals. Tsk, tsk.
