Excellent service! We contacted several companies to do some…read morerepairs around the house. We got a few estimates. DGO had the most thoughtful and thorough estimate. Javier Lopez came out to look at our project. Once we accepted his bid, his crew showed up exactly when they promised. The crew was the hardest working group I have seen in a long time. The work they did was excellent. They fixed everything we requested. I can't say enough good things about them. I would definitely recommend DGO!

We have had Perfect Choice put roofs on two different houses and both times they were professional,…read morealong with being efficient, and their cleanup of the area was excellent. They were very considerate of the landscaping around both houses and did not harm any plants or greenery. We will definitely use this company again.

We have been dealing with this company for a year, this month. Finally, the manager returned our…read morecall last week but kept reminding us we signed a contract and it was binding. The thing is, we discovered they broke the contract when they didn`t put the color of gutters on our house that were stated by them in the original contract. We didn`t know they had messed up because the color we recieved is what we assumed was the one we chose and the one stated in the contract. Without showing us color samples there was no way for us to know this wasn`t the case. This past spring the gutters and filters they chose for us, even after we explained why we disagreed with their choice for both, didn`t do the job adequately. The rains flooded our patios and ran down our screens and into our porch. They company finally replaced the gutter for 6" and gave us new filters mid-summer but the gutters are not the prior color from 2024. It seems they are the color stated in the original contract that we signed. The workmen noticed the color change and questioned it. We didn`t realize the first color wasn`t the color we had chosen so were as confused and those working on the project. The company is expecting us to pay for the difference in price of the larger gutters and new filters, and keep the color we didn`t select even though they are the ones who called all the shots and didn`t do as we asked from the very beginning. Again, we want it known, the installers and office personnel have done a fantastic job! No complaints from us where they are concerned. It is the man in a higher up position of manager that is the problem.

I contracted with SAL Roofing, Scott L. in June of 2023. A year and a half later I have a hardly…read morestarted roofing project. SAL was paid 84k as a downpayment to complete my roofing project. All phones are disconnected, and I can't reach anyone at the business. Looks like I am out 84K. I absolutely would not do business with this company, AKA Hagel Claims or Scott A. Lennington. This man is a thief and preys on storm damage and insurance money. At his point, since the projects have not been completed, my insurance coverage has been dropped and I have zero coverage on my property. Scott came and inspected our roof and found hail damage. He was able to work with State Farm to…read moreget our claim approved. He seemed like a nice guy and had answers to my questions. His pitch was that if I referred people to him he would cover my deductible. His team installed my roof in about two and a half days. Based on my experience to that point, I spread the word to several people and gave them SAL Construction's info. I noticed a few minor things right after the installation: cracked trim around our skylight, shingles overhanging farther than they should have on one face of the house, and satellite dish not being realigned. No major show stoppers so I signed my insurance check over to SAL Construction. About a week later I was working in my attic and noticed that they did not patch several of the holes from where the static vents used to be. They just shingled over 8 inch wide holes without putting anything under for support-someone could very easily have put a foot through one of these holes. I fixed this issue myself since I figured I was getting a good deal by not having to pay my deductible. I then decided to check and see if ice and water shield had been installed everywhere that it was supposed to. Several areas, including over a bedroom and the kitchen, had no ice and water barrier installed. I contacted Scott on October 26 and he said he would come out the next day. He did not show. Said he would be out the day after that for sure. He did not show. I texted a few days later and received no response. They day after I texted again and finally got a response that he would stop by the next day. He didn't show. That night it rained and water leaked in around the skylight. I tried getting a hold of Scott through every way that I could think of, including the "24-hour emergency response" number. There was no response. I had to get on the roof in the rain and put a tarp over the skylight to stop further water damage. The next day, November 3, I called again and Scott answered. His guys came out and did a temporary fix of the skylight flashing (it did not appear to have been done right the first time). Scott said that it was the skylight's fault (the leak path was around the skylight and had nothing to do with the skylight itself). While they were over they put down one layer of ice and water shield in the areas that they missed. They also trimmed back the shingles that were over hung too far and nailed down the ridge vent that was wavy and peeling up. He said he would get a new skylight to take care of the problem and that it would be in around a week from then. That was on November 3. On December 14 he sends a message saying that he finally has the skylight and that he was going to drop it off at my house. He said that I can install it myself or he would do it if there was a nice day (when I checked out the skylight, it turned out to be too small and the wrong orientation for our application). He also sent me an invoice for my entire deductible plus the cost of the new skylight. Frustrated with the bill that I was not expecting, I challenged Scott on only putting down one row of ice and water shield instead of the two that Chapter 9, Section R905.2.7.1 of the International Residential Code calls for. His response was that he knows the code better than I do, and it is ok that he did not put enough ice and water shield down to get 24 inches inside the interior wall like the code says because he always only puts one row on (for my roof pitch and soffit size, he was at least 13 inches short of what the code calls for). We ended up settling the invoice for the majority of what Scott was requesting. I mailed him a check, as he requested, and kindly requested a receipt of payment. Scott cashed the check and did not send a receipt, even after repeated requests. Throughout all of this, Scott never offered any sort of apology for the issues that came up. UPDATE July 2017: Scott reached out to me and apologized for me being unhappy with the work that he performed. He also refunded me the out of pocket money that he had billed me.
