I hired Marco to help with updated my very dated bathroom. Originally I was going to try and do this myself but after researching the process and the mistakes that can be made that hinder the results I decided to hire a professional, and I'm really glad I did. Marco removed the old wallpaper, repaired the drywall where needed and painted the walls and ceiling. The process took about 3 days and after watching the process I know I would have messed this up. When I came time to select a color I have deliberated for weeks before we started and still hadn't landed on one. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Marco is trained in color theory and has lots of experience with how/why/where in selecting and applying the right color. His insight was very helpful to me and the absolutely love the color we selected. It's exactly what I was looking for. He was also receptive and helpful in painting the finishing details around the corners, tiles and mirror. To make a clean finish around the edges he used caulking to finish these details, and while he was at it he when ahead and repaired some of the grout that needed repaired. Jason from New Horizons turned up to paint one of my walls. He seemed like he just wanted to get on with it and wasn't very chatty or friendly etc, but I assumed he just wanted to get the job done, so no problem. However, not long after he was here, he got paint all over my carpet, and when I pointed this out he said that I should have been more prepared and that it was my problem. Job done within Budget and ahead of schedule! Very high quality paint job. New Horizons staff communicated every step of the way. The job was done with care and precision. They laboriously cleaned and prepped. The paint was applied carefully, done by staff who were not hurried and did not cut corners. I have done all the painting on this house for nearly 20 years.
