From the day Kenrick Chandon called me and introduced himself, I have been enthralled with this idea of New Horizons and what it meant. When he began explaining everything to the exact detail I was impressed. I came in to visit without any expactations and from the moment I walked in through the door I was impressed. The faculty from the front desk receptionist to the other recruiter, Ray Desamour, was a grand welcome. I got to meet the instructor that was instructing my class, Andrew Cichewicz, and his precence alone defined the energy of the room. The team work within the facility is like no other I have seen outside the military and for the first time in years I felt as if I was home. Mr. Andrews knowledge on the subjects of the class is precise and his methods of instructing are unparrelled to any I have experienced. I recommend this to anyone who is interested in the IT field to come in and experience what I have experienced. The comrodary of the class has become a group that grew close from the beginning and has grown as team throughout the course. Steve Strowbridge is the best teacher and an all around funny, trustworthy, & caring guy. I really miss classes, the group that went through the program with me are absolutely now lifelong friends. The veteran program is very fast pace and a lot of information, but the tools given will help you succeed if you utilize them. I joined the program with absolutely no background on IT and not a firm understanding whether I wanted to be in the field or not. I thought it was a great to go through the training, which gave me an advance understanding of IT, which I use to help my director even though I now decided I would like to study business with a focus in Human Resource Management. My director and peers are impressed with my skill and explanation of common IT/ desktop and printing issues in the workplace, which makes me more valuable to my workplace even without me being directly hired as a desktop administrator. I initially started out at New Horizons with the mindset, that the course wouldn't really be of benefit to me and the time invested was not worth it. I could not have been more wrong. Because of the excellent professionalism by staff, I am well on my way to excelling in my IT career. I really appreciate Kenrick Chandon for introducing me to the program and hewas great at getting me oriented and set for the program. Jasmine Rogers and Steve Strowbridge are probably 2 of the most knowledgeable and thorough instructors Ive had the pleasure of learning from, they definitely got me back in learning mode and prepped for the exams. I'm also thankful that Crystal Brown was able to assist me in scheduling my exams easily, clarifying my inquiries, and even sending tailored job recommendations which helped me land a great interview. The entire experience at New Horizons has been top notch, and think enrolling in the Veterans program should be a no-brainer. I wish i learned about the program sooner. read more

He is one of the best instructors there is and he made the class easy to comprehend, interesting and he genuinely cared about your development. This program is FANTASTIC and very hands on, and very very FAST PACE!!. It teaches about current IT technologies and varies software and hardware troubleshooting skills. The way the instructor teaches the class is unbelievable and super awesome. The individuals that attend these classes are adults looking for a "CAREER!!!" not a temporary job.
