Guidepost Montessori at Palm Beach Gardens - Remy on water day

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this school. Sending my boys here has been one of…read morethe best decisions I have made as a parent, and I only wish they could continue attending well beyond kindergarten! My oldest son, Remy, started in the toddler classroom at just 21 months old. Until then, he had only ever been home with me, so the decision to send him to school was a huge one. I spent months researching schools and Montessori education, touring different facilities, and trying to find somewhere I would feel completely comfortable leaving my baby. From the moment I walked through the doors, I knew this place was different. The children were happy, the guides were warm and welcoming, and the classrooms were immaculate, beautifully organized, and thoughtfully designed for little ones. It was unlike anything I had seen at any other school I toured. For the first time, I felt completely at peace with my decision. Remy will have been attending for a year this November, and the growth I have seen in him has been incredible. His independence, confidence, social skills, and love of learning have blossomed. His main guide, Ms. Jessy, holds such a special place in my heart. She goes above and beyond for Remy and every child in her classroom. She has a beautiful way of treating these little ones as capable, independent humans rather than babies, encouraging them to explore, learn, and do things for themselves. You can see how much she genuinely loves what she does, and I am so grateful that Remy gets to learn from her every day. My experience with Remy was so wonderful that when it came time to enroll my youngest son, Rhett, I didn't hesitate. He started in the Nido classroom this past April at just THREE months old! If you had told me before finding this school that I would feel comfortable sending my three-month-old baby to daycare, I never would have believed you. But that is how much trust and confidence this school has earned from me. The love, patience, and attentiveness the staff shows both of my boys is something I will never take for granted. One of the things I appreciate most is the environment they have created. Every classroom is always so clean, neat, and thoughtfully arranged with age-appropriate materials. Everything is child-sized and designed to encourage creativity, exploration, and independence. There is so much intention behind every detail, and it truly shows in the children. What makes this school even more special, though, is the people. Last month, my husband underwent brain surgery, and our family was going through an incredibly difficult time. The entire staff checked in on us, showed genuine concern, and went out of their way to support our family. They even allowed Remy to stay for the full day instead of his usual half day so I could be at the hospital with my husband. That kindness meant more to me than they will ever know. It reminded me that this is so much more than a school or daycare. It is a community of people who genuinely care about the children AND the families they serve. Both of my boys absolutely love going to school, and there is no greater feeling as a parent than knowing your children are happy, safe, loved, and thriving when they are not with you. I am beyond grateful for every single person who makes this school what it is...especially for the Toddler guides (Ms. Jessy, Ms. Lauren, Ms. Lilah), the Nido guides (Ms. Patty, Ms. Kelly and Ms. Lorena), and management Ms. Nikki and Ms. Meagan! I truly wish my boys could stay here forever. Finding a place you trust with your children is priceless, and I feel so lucky that we found ours.

Ms. Delfina and Ms. Erika are phenomenal Montessori guides who truly care about our daughter's growth and development. We especially appreciate their focus on practical life skills; helping her learn to put on her own shoes, share and interact with her classmates, express her feelings, and understand the importance of community. Since starting at Guidepost, we have seen tremendous growth in our daughter's speech, independence, confidence, and curiosity. It's amazing to see how much she has learned and how excited she is to continue learning. The combination of the Montessori curriculum, Spanish immersion, and such caring and dedicated guides has been wonderful for her development. The administration is also incredibly supportive and does a great job communicating with parents, creating a strong sense of community, and hosting the cutest events for the children and families. We are so grateful for the teachers and staff at Guidepost Palm Beach Gardens and the positive impact they have had on our daughter. My husband and I highly recommend Guidepost to any family looking for a nurturing, engaging, and development-focused Montessori environment!

Two different schools in the Palm Beach County Public School System fought with us when we wanted to leave him back and it was clear that he was seen as a lost cause that would just be passed along from grade to grade unless we changed schools. 5 years later the progress my son had made at Providence was truly remarkable. Obviously, they taught him how to read but also the skills necessary to learn, both in the class and at home. Socially, he became a gregarious confident young man who sought to help his fellow students. For him, in the middle of 7th grade, we decided it was time to try public school again because of what Providence had done for him. We could have not envisioned a better result. He has moved into advance classes in all his core subjects but for English and Math, and the only reason he has not advanced in Math is because he did not start public middle school until 7th grade. His teachers look to him to assist other students, a task he truly enjoys. Socially, he has also thrived, easily making friends and bullying no longer an issue. Thank you, Providence, for this amazing result. If you are considering Providence, do not hesitate. It is truly a remarkable place.

She loved her teachers and her classmates. We always got photos and updates at the end of the day, and were very happy with how things were going. When she transitioned to the next class, things went downhill. Off the bat we didn't have the same good feeling about the teachers compared to her last class. It was an overall colder vibe, not as caring. My daughter has ALOT of emotions (terrible two era) so I understand this can take a toll on the teachers. But I didn't appreciate how every day when I picked my daughter up, she seemed like she had been crying for long durations. One day, she came home with marks on her hand. I know one of the teachers has long nails but didn't say anything because it could have come from a child. However, none of the teachers commented on the marks which to me was a red flag (usually we would get an incident report or at least the teacher would tell us what happened). Another time, after picking my daughter up, she kept repeating in the car "stop crying, stop crying." When I asked her who said that, she said teacher. I showed her photos of her teachers and there was clearly one aid who she seemed scared of. After this, I immediately pulled her out (also after seeing a similar review from a student in the same class). When the head of the school met with me after I pulled my daughter, she seemed very protective of her staff and I almost felt like she was trying to tell me I was wrong for pulling my daughter out. However, I am SO thankful I did. We transitioned her to Bluffs School and things have improved significantly. The teachers are all warm and have great energy, I love the director, and the tuition is only slightly more than The Learning Experience! Overall, we're happy we made the move. I also was to mention that you should read the positive reviews on Yelp. At least one is from an individual who thought they were posting a review for a toy store. Mistakes happen, but what I think is gross is The Learning Experience commented on that review thanking them for the positive review (see photo- in case they try to get this deleted).
