My child was asleep on her cot when Terez Estrada walked over to her, kicking the cot several times, then lifting it with her foot, causing my child to jump out of her sleep scared. The cot nearly rolled over. About 5 minutes later I watched my child walk up to Terez Estrada pointing to the bathroom signaling that she had to potty. Terez Estarda never once looked down at my child to give her the attention. As all of this was taking place I left work early, rushing through traffic to make my way to Everbrook Academy. On the drive there, I continued to watch the live cameras and and repeatedly witnessed Terez Estrada mistreat and neglect my child. While the children were being lined up to go outside, Terez Estrada forced my child to stay inside while all of the other children went outside. During snack time, Terez Estrada literally poured my child's snack on the bare table while giving the other kids a bowl to eat out of. Once I arrived at Everbrook Academy, I immediately spoke with the principal, Sydney Richardson, and told her everything that I had witnessed. The next day, I received a phone call from the Director of Everbrook Academy, Barb. She told me that she would view the tapes and then would give me a call back to set up a meeting to discuss the incident. It is now October and I haven't heard anything from Barb. This incident has definitely been swept up under the rug while Terez Estrada still remains an active employee at Everbrook Academy. This was one of my biggest fears about placing my child in daycare and to witness this all happen is heartbreaking.

TLDR: We loved The Gardner School in Eagan so much that our…read moresecond child is now enrolled there. The staff are warm, communicative, and genuinely devoted -- many have worked there for years and even send their own kids here. The curriculum is top-notch, with TGS kids regularly entering kindergarten ahead of their peers. On top of that, the events they host are truly one of a kind -- from a Raptor Center visit and ice cream socials to singing and dancing with the Little Mermaid, and even parent night out caretaking during the holidays. There's never a dull moment at TGS. Our older child made his best friend here and still misses it. Now our infant is thriving in their baby class. The staff here are truly the village you're looking for. Having our second child at The Gardner School in Eagan says it all. When our first started at Gardner at age three -- after coming from Everbrook in Woodbury -- we were nervous about whether he'd adapt to a new school, new friends, and new teachers. Would we find people who truly cared for our child the way we do? The answer was yes, immediately. The staff made us feel welcome from day one, kept us updated with photos and comments throughout the day, and loved our little one like their own. From the cook to the leadership team, everyone is warm and approachable. What really stands out is the stability and dedication of the staff -- many have been there for years, and some even send their own children here. The curriculum is excellent, and we've heard from friends that TGS kids consistently enter public kindergarten well ahead of their peers in reading, math, and more. The annual performances are a wonderful touch too, giving kids real experience being comfortable in front of a large audience. The events TGS hosts are truly one of a kind. From Raptor Center visits and ice cream socials to singing and dancing with the Little Mermaid, and parent night out caretaking during the holidays -- there is never a dull moment. These experiences make learning fun and give kids memories they'll carry with them long after they've moved on. Our older child found his best friend at TGS and still lights up every time he visits. He regularly tells us he wishes he could go back. Now our second is in the infant class and thriving -- the daily photo updates and evening recaps give us such peace of mind. The staff here truly are the village you're looking for.

My son has been a student here for about a month now. They are very attentive to both my son and the parents. Communication is fabulous. We get frequent emails and the teachers talk to me all the time. The director checks in too, asking if I have concerns, how the adjustment is going, etc. my son has already learned so much and he looks forward to going to school every day. He does five half days and he ends up missing the afternoon craft. The teacher overheard him telling me he didn't have the art work from the previous day hanging on the wall, and she said she'd do the craft with him the next morning. I figured although she meant well, there was no way she'd have time to do a one in one craft with my son. Amazingly, she did! My son was so happy and I am beyond impressed with her dedication to making sure my son felt included. I can't say enough. My son loves the food, he gets plenty of play time and lots of education. He's happy and so am I.

Where do I start with the most stressful 5 or 6 weeks dealing with this mess. From emails the…read moredirector thought she sent me about payments to the Vice President giving no care in the world about me or my concerns. I was told 1 day before I go on vacation that I am being charged an extra day from previous weeks because apparently my first week I didn't get a schedule in when I knew nothing about this place and that schedules needed to be in on a certain day. I was charged for 4 days the week of the 4 Of July---in which the 4th is paid by the family even though they are closed, The director tells me she thought I meant I would be bringing my daughter in Tuesday thru Thursday...wait that sounds like 3 days including the 4th which fell on a Wednesday where did you get 4?! When We in fact agreed on a 3 day flexible schedule. So I get told the payment hasn't processed go in and pay the adjusted amount(which was still too much if I'm getting a 10% corporate discount) (let's not forget they run a 25% off promo that they don't keep track of after the 4 weeks and make you pay back what they charged you...because they were keeping track) and guess what...I'm DOUBLE CHARGED they never took off the amount I paid first and I get told by the Vice President pretty much that it's my fault and there's nothing they can do...except take my money(She didn't straight out say that but that is what I got from the conversation we had which was awkward and pointless because we got no where and nothing was settled or handled). They took it upon themselves to credit my account for my daughters last week and states I will get refunded the small amount left over per the Vice President lady. It's been almost a week and I have yet to be refunded, so I follow up and ask where's my refund...the director tells me "soon I'll get it".UM WHAT IS SOON?!! IT SOUNDS LIKE NEVER!!! This was my first encounter with a daycare facility and last we took my daughter out immediately. This had to have been the most unorganized, unprofessional, EXPENSIVE EXPERIENCE I have ever dealt with.
