If you are looking for EMDR her practice is the place to best. Jesus is included. My husband said that I have made more progress in these lasso three months than all my years of therapy combined.

I saw Cara awhile back. She is great( if you can afford her). However, at the end of our time I…read morefelt more like it was about the money (for her). She recommended EMDR but kept saying she needed more time with me/more information. This was after seeing her for about 3 months during the summer. Weekly appointments at $200. I think she has a lot of insight and is very smart, but if you're like me and value promptness and a little more effort on the emotional side. I do not think she is a good fit for you. She was continually late, but made sure to always get me out at my time. I'm tired of their time being valuable and mine not..... Or maybe if she is really busy she might need to stop accepting new patients. We didn't end on bad terms. But, I just got a charge on my CC a year later for an appt that she forgot to charge. I don't appreciate the unprofessionalism especially when you're paying so much.

Treatment and healing is a very individual experience. For our family Orama has provided hope in…read moreour darkest time. Our daughter was anxious prior to arriving. Audra suggested that we FaceTime to familiarize her with the home, activities and the sweet cows (Honey and Biscuit). That helped to ease her anxiety. When we arrived our daughter was depressed, empty and visibly hurting. Stephanie, Julia, Africa and Audra warmly welcomed her. Working closely with the therapists and Dr. Knox we identified an accurate diagnosis, medication regimen and therapeutic outlets (she loves Yoga now). Their approach is very individualized in all aspects. This is what separates Orama - they care about each of these girls and their futures. I invested countless hours of research into finding the right fit for my daughter. Orama has been a game changer for my daughter and our family.

I called Dr. Polo to make an appointment and I found her to be extremely cold and indifferent. Her…read moretone was unsympathetic and our conversation was rushed. The entire call lasted less than 1 minute and she seemed to be annoyed for all of it. She quickly informs me she doesn't work nights or weekends. That's fine, my schedule is flexible, so I asked if I could get in next Monday morning or an upcoming one in a few weeks. She shot that down fast and stated she doesn't work Mondays, so that won't work. Before I could even suggest a different day, she cut our conversation short and asked if I had a number to another doctor. As someone who is battling depression, it's extremely hard to make that initial call asking for help. A little common courtesy would have been appreciated.

When I met Dr. Lambert in 2015, I was a mere shell of myself. I was one year into a new job…read more(producing mediocre results), living with my sister, overweight, and on the "outs" of a relationship that ended up failing horribly. I was extremely vulnerable and was in search of why I was failing at life. As sessions with Dr. Lambert went on, I was able to gain a deeper understanding into who I was, why I was attracting certain people in my life and why I continued to make decisions that manifested the same results. Dr. Lambert challenged me to change my perspective and put forth some serious effort to change my life. Within THREE MONTHS of seeing him, I bought my first home. Within the first TWO YEARS of seeing him, I was promoted twice at my job, lost 40 pounds and got engaged. I owe all of this to the positive vision that Dr. Lambert saw within me- especially when I lost sight of it within myself. Dr. Lambert's sessions are always warm, welcoming and encouraging. In the last three years, I have never experienced a misunderstanding with billing or appointments. He has an amazing memory to detail and can recall stories, conversations and challenges that I discussed with him (and often forgot about) since day one of seeing him.... [To put this into proper perspective, keep in mind that I see him bi-weekly and he has other patients. I find it amazing for him to stay on track with things that I discuss with him. It is as if I am his only patient at times.]... He tells me what I NEED to hear and does so in a way that never makes me feel beat down about myself. I actually walk away from each session with a sense of empowerment and an eagerness to tackle life's next hurdle. Although I have come a long way since 2015, I continue to see him on a semi-weekly basis for "maintenance". I enjoy our talks, which have become an equal part of my routine as going to the gym or watching the sunset during an evening stroll through my favorite nature reserve. I see Dr. Lambert as more of a friend and a mentor than I do as a therapist. He is a much-needed source of knowledge and support as I continue with life. It is because of Dr. Lambert that I have been able to get back to the basics of enjoying life, building meaningful relationships and loving myself. Not only has he been a major influence, Dr. Lambert lives by example. I've had the experience of seeing his office grow in terms of space, team members and eventually to a new location. The culture of his staff has always been focused, friendly and professional. I can tell that his team is a direct reflection of him and I can honestly say that they are doing a lot of things right over there. I highly recommend Dr. Lambert (and his qualified team of doctors at Great Life Counseling Center) to anyone in need of mentoring or improvement in relationships, self-actualization, self-confidence, parenting, career advancement or personal goals.
