This place is awesome! It has a great curriculum that centers on Biblical training including pastoral studies, Christian counseling, Christian education, intercultural studies, business, worship arts, and youth ministry. If you are also looking for a church to go to they have a great service with pastor Wayne Cordeiro. read more

I am an alumnus of New Hope Christian College (class of 2013) and would definitely recommend any student interested in furthering their biblical understanding or desiring to go into pastoral ministry or creative arts to attend here! Students aren't just a number or a name in a roster; the faculty and staff take a genuine interest in the lives of each and every student, and try to inspire excellence as they help instill God's best. NHCC is definitely primarily a Christian college which means they don't sacrifice biblical teaching for liberal arts; the emphasis is on personal development and character formation. I will always be grateful to this school for what it has taught me. Because of the lessons I learned here, I was able to graduate, get a job at a church and become a licensed minister. I was in the Creative Arts program but took the same biblical education courses as those in the pastoral degree program. It was awesome that the experience at NHCC allowed me to have one-on-one mentorship with faculty and they'd even hold weekly bible studies with the students. read more

I had some of my most amazing life experiences at this school. I just recently graduated from New Hope along with my husband. I came from a background of addiction and judgement. But, out of every other college that I visited this was the one that showed me grace, compassion, and true care as a human being. I am thankful for EVERY moment that I spent there. read more

Love this school! The campus is gorgeous. The rooms are clean and updated. The gym is beautiful!! The food is always delicious. Great programs and degree choices. The teachers really pour into their students and make you feel important and cared for. I totally recommend going here! read more

If you care about integrity you will choose a different college. I filled out a pastors review in the Spring of 2017 for a student applying for New Hope and recommended the student be accepted. The student was living a lie (morally) and so lied to me and on their application to New Hope. The student was accepted to attend. When the truth came out late Spring the administration WOULD NOT remove my recommendation from the students file or remove their acceptance of them. Their reason why? "The student might sue us if we did." So, New Hope CHRISTIAN college fears man MORE than they FEAR God. Also, to be accepted you have to have a 2.75 GPA from high school. This student barely graduated from high school and DID NOT meet this requirement. DO NOT even consider this co read more

My daughter is thriving at New Hope. No one is perfect and we can not base our belief on what others do and say but I must say the Leadership is exceptional and my daughter is growing tremendously in her walk with Jesus. They offer some really great programs for leadership development and creative arts and all the students are encouraged to get involved with a local church. The coaches are amazing and it has been a great experience for her in the athletics department as well. This has been a much better experience than I ever imagined. Does a great job of building leaders for the church through hands-on classes and mentoring. While I was a student, I definitely developed countless skills, gained incredible experiences, and grew in my understanding of the Bible and my faith. NHCC is a specialized school with a very small student body. This really appealed to me, and I knew I wanted to attend NHCC because of the close interactions between the staff and the students that allow for true community and discipleship. I would definitely recommend NHCC to anyone who is looking for hands-on training in order to become a Christian leader. read more

Might be the WORST college imaginable. Went here for 2 years, REFUSE to give my transcripts (seeking legal advice there), listened to fellow students talk about getting drunk and who they have "hooked up with" more than talking about their walk with God. Unless of course it was for a school function, then the hypocrisy starts. Avoid this school if you actually want to build your faith. read more

We have the most amazing students in the world here. The major areas of study are Theology and Leadership, and Creative arts. Most of what is taught is for the Church in order to communicate the Good News of Jesus Christ through Broadcasting, video, worship, business, counseling, youth ministry, teaching, and more! read more
