You can find it off Broadway and Ord, but you need to look for an asphalt parking lot and then it's tucked in away from the sidewalk of Broadway. With the difficult parking in Chinatown, it's so helpful you can pull into this parking lot to pick up things like chrysanthemum tea, or whatever herbs you're looking for. They have a wide variety of herbs, high quality and reasonable prices. Okay their customer service isn't amazing but they are attentive. I blame the lack of english though, but hey they're located in chinatown! However with the little english they could speak I was offered a free sample of their tea! I was impressed that i was able to get me some ginkgo biloba tea. && totally a bargain. $5 for a 1/4 pound and it smelled fresh. mmhhm. They also mentioned they had the capsules and even had some the gingko in liquid form. If i wasn't such a square i would've made the purchase but I lack at being a dare devil so i stuck with the herbs. In this little shop i was also able to find some natural honey crystals for the good price of $5 !! I was totally excited to find these for such a price, you can expect to pay way over $10 at a farmers market for a much smaller bottle. This little tea shop even came with a medicine man. Made the shop have a nice feel. && for the record they had quite a large selection of teas and other asian remedies. Came in here looking for astragalus root, ligustrum berries(dried), and dried licorice root for a immune support tea that I was making. They had everything and let me tell you everything. The young lady and what seemed to be her husband were very personable. We chatted for about 5-10 minutes about herbs and their business. They are very down earth and sweet people, if I ever need to come back for specific herbs I'll be coming to them. If you can pay cash it would be better for them since they are a small business(they lose 3% of the sale to the credit machine). They do accept credit cards though for those of you wondering. Went there to see the doctor since he speaks English. It was the standard $10 like any herb store. But I was charged a rip off $30 for him to prick my finger for a cholesterol check. I said yes to a blood check..didn't think all I'd get was a prick! Then he is supposed to check your tongue but he didn't. Im well versed on Chinese Dr and herbs but oddly he tried to sell be bs not Chinese stuff. I came in sick with a weak pulse thinking I'm anemic with bad blood and got co.q 10, glutamine-an amino, probiotic, vitamin d3- lacking sunshine in so. Cal ? NOT, mango steen juice,ginseng and cholesterol recommendations? WHAT THE @*#! Most herb doctors recommend herbs. Maybe I'm just not that sick? Who knows but everything that was recommended was kind of over the counter generic pre packaged stuff not something a real.Chinese Dr.would sell. I spent 75$ with a recommended list totaling closer to $1100. I have a non English speaking Chinese Dr that I like better. I just don't understand him very well. read more

I happen to be shopping in the area for herbs to make tea.I first stopped off at Tin Bo which was up the street few stores down.It was awful service.So I came across this place and Dr.Wu assisted me with 5 star customer service.First, off I told him what I was looking for since the herb tea I purchase with Tin Bo gave me an allergic reaction.He took one look at my herbs and told me they were old and had black bugs in them.He said that's why I wasn't getting better cause of that issue.Anyhow, he had several gadgets in his jacket pocket that he tested my reflexes with a metal piece.As well checked my pulse,tongue ph balance for free.When at Tin Bo I paid $12.00 for a check up that was useless.Dr.Wu not only tested me on a few things with his gadgets.He provided me 3 options.I ended up buying the herbs which seem to do fine with me.As well took his tip on drinking alkaline water for energy,detoxify the blood stream.He was absolutely sincere and knowledgeable.Def not pushy like Tin Bo down the street.I will be coming back for acupuncture treatment soon. read more

I first meet with Dr. Wu in December 2016. He prescribed some herbs for my autoimmune condition and that evening I began taking them. I also decided that I needed to change my diet so I began a plant based diet, increasing my fruits and vegetables and whole grains. I had been under the care of a rheumatologist who only prescribed medications. I only received little relief from the meds, however, when i began treatment under Dr. Wu, my body began feeling better the next day. In the past I had to prepare my mind for my daily activities as simple as getting out of bed, standing up and walking around.
