When you've been to numerous doctors for various heath issues with very little solutions, you soon become very hopeless towards your overall health. After a while you feel as though the doctors aren't even really listening to you anymore. However, my experience here was a completely different story. When I first came in, I instantly felt at ease with the calm environment and friendly, welcoming staff. As someone who has anxiety, it's not always easy meeting new people and going into detail discussing all your health issues. Jason is not only incredibly easy to talk to, but he actively listens, understands, and truly cares about helping you with your physical and/or mental health. One may be skeptic, but after only seeing Jason for a few weeks, I am able to sleep much more easily, I have had very few headaches and migraines, (I have them quite often), I am able to relax and focus, I have had significant relief from my allergies, and I have had a great amount of pain and pressure released from my foot, (I recently got an intensive foot surgery). Two weeks ago I even came in with a severe migraine, (almost having to cancel my appointment because it was so bad), and Jason helped it go away immediately. I started seeing Dr. Jason for osteoarthritis, primarily in my knees. The pain and swelling had intensified when I started a walking program and I needed to get it under control before a scheduled vacation trip. I'd been looking for an acupuncturist in Vancouver for a while after moving here from Portland, but the need had finally become critical. After much web searching and review reading I chose Dr. Jason and truly lucked out. As a new patient, we thoroughly talked through my medical history including treatments I'd used in the past, both Western and acupuncture. EXCELLENT! I was fortunate to get a last minute appointment while visiting Portland for a few days. I was Jason's patient in California and received acupuncture treatment twice a week, and took herbal medicine, for about 6 months up until his last day in his old office. My main reason for treatment was infertility, He is the 3rd acupuncturist I've seen, and the best! His technique is painless, his bedside manner excellent, is extremely knowledgeable, and he truly cares. He educated me on improving my health, diet & life style which in turn improved my fertility. I did get pregnant during treatment, but unfortunately suffered a miscarriage due to genetic abnormalities. Clogged Milk Ducts Acupuncture Treatment Acupuncture was finally what helped my clogged milk ducts significantly improve. Also, Jason Maskovits & his office assistant Ashley made me feel comfortable and at ease during my treatments. When I came to Jason, I was battling severe clogged milk ducts for over a month. It started with me getting Mastitis and then taking antibiotics to tx that. When I was done with my 10day antibiotic tx, I started getting the clogged ducts. It was all day every day. I had to use warm compress/shower before every pumping session and then hand express any remaining milk after. A lot of times, I wasn't able to unclog the duct even with doing all that. After doing acupuncture combined with Chinese Herbs and diet change prescribed by Jason, I'm down to a minor clogged duct maybe 1x2 days or so.. As a nurse I always favored western medicine however during my wedding time due to stress my allergies started to get way more serious than normal ... I tried almost all specialists from allergist to dermatologist to optometrist since the main effect was around my eyes but they all could only provide very temporary relief provided by steroids. I've been receiving acupuncture for over 20 years and although have always found most acupuncturists very good, Jason takes his services a step higher. He demonstrates a wide range of knowledge regarding integrative medicine, eastern treatments, and bodily functioning and mechanics, in a well coordinated fashion that produces results. I have rheumatoid arthritis as well as circulatory issues, and RSD....at one point I was on six different medications at once to ease the pain.....with horrible side effects. Back in the fall of 2012, I had what is called a 'retina vein occlusion' in my left eye. Not wanting to do the allopathic route of injections every six weeks for the rest of my life, I told my ophthalmologist that I was calling Jason Moskovitz for advice on how to heal this eye problem with Chinese medicine. Several years ago while visiting India I contracted a mosquito born virus called Chikungunya. High temps and severe joint pain. Traditional doctors said there was no cure and to take Ibuprofen to moderate the pain. Jason performed a full exam and treated with acupuncture and herbs. I started to feel relief slowly but surely!
