Made a appointment for a communion dress with my mam and sister and left a note on the booking asking the shop to confirm if it would be possible for 2 adults to attend the appointment (as it was early on a Monday morning, both adults fully vaccinated living in the same household). Turned up for the appointment this morning, assuming our request was okay after no phone call to tell us otherwise. To be told by the girl at the door "vaccines don't matter" and only 1 adult could attend the appointment because they were "out the door" despite the shop being empty.
I'd understand if it was a weekend, but there was literally nobody else inside the shop at the time. Very disappointing experience, extremely unhelpful staff member with an attitude problem also.
This problem could have been easily avoided, if they had checked their booking requests and made contact prior to the appointment instead of leaving us to assume it was ok. Any other communion shop we rang to enquire about appointments had said that 2 adults would be no issue, some shops even smaller then this one given it was a weekday early morning appointment. They must pick and choose rules for certain people, because there are photos on their Facebook from May of 3 adults and 1 child in store.! read more
