I don't even know where to start. I am sitting here (very emotional) on my daughter's last day of preschool after 2.5 PERFECT years with New Generation. We are fortunate beyond belief to have found this incredible school. It has been the most wonderful launching pad for my little one, setting her up for a healthy, curious, kind, and loving life. I have full confidence as she enters the "big school" (Kindergarten) next week that she will be ready socially AND intellectually thanks to the loving care and attention received from the teachers and leadership at New Generation. I found this school after trying many others in the area. New Generation is both play and academically focused, always clean, and has a GORGEOUS backyard play area (I always say it feels heavenly back there). I'll never ever forget how wonderful it felt to pick my daughter up in such a safe and loving environment every day and have her run across that playground to hug me. The school is not only kid-friendly, but parent friendly. They have always been kind and supportive in a way that parents of preschoolers need... they just get it. The front office empathizes and gives of their time and attention, always making me feel safe and seen. They also throw a great party!! The Fall Festival every year is seriously so much fun - we're still planning to go as a family even after we've left! There are always holiday activities, celebrations, shows, adorable Graduations... everything is just so perfect. Most importantly, the teachers are INCREDIBLE. We had Ms. Claudia, Ms. Laura, and Ms. Favi throughout the years, three of the most lovely women, always with a focus on learning, growth, development, and kindness. The kiddos spend so much time at preschool, it has been very comforting to know it is such a wonderful environment, complete with care and attention from very involved teachers. Ms. Favi, our current teacher, truly looks at her students as if they were her own, and treats them as such. My daughter loves her so, and dreams of being a teacher one day because of how wonderfully Ms. Favi does it. It will be so hard to say goodbye to her, and there will be no shortage of tears (mom included). I highly recommend this school for your sweet little ones. Our son went to New Generation for two years, and I wished we had found them sooner. It's an amazing preschool with the best staff. We looked at several preschools and as soon as we stepped into New Gen, we could just feel that this was the perfect place for our guy. It was fun, safe, nurturing, and a great community. From the first day we dropped him off, we knew he was in good hands. He made so many friends, and would be excited to go there every day. The back yard has so many places for the kids to play and explore. The lessons and learning kept him challenged and engaged. He thrived socially and academically. We loved the learning based approach, and even appreciated the homework we did as a family each week. By the time he left for kindergarten, he had learned to write words, do simple math, started reading simple words, and so much more. They got him ready for big school. When he started kindergarten, he walked in there with confidence. I give New Generation so much credit for that. It was bittersweet for us as his parents when he left New Gen, but he walked out of there ready for bigger things. I could write about a thousand things that we loved about New Gen. My son used to go to their sister school in Burbank for couple of years before covid hit and now my daughter goes to their new branch in North Hollywood. Unlike like other facilities that hire strangers, this daycare is a family own business that teaches our young ones how to be supportive, caring, and united from their young age. We love New Generation preschool and Le Petit. My daughter started at Le Petit and 6 months old and the teachers treated her like one of their own. They were so patient and helped us get her to use a bottle. I toured many infant daycares and found Le Petit to be the best mix of professionally run but still has a loving family feel. My daughter transitioned to the preschool at 18 months and stayed until she graduated to kindergarten. She was well prepared both academically and socially and still loves going back to visit the teachers and office staff when we go pick up her brother. Our family was blessed to have found New Generation. Our older daughter just "graduated" from the preschool and started kindergarten, while our younger daughter still has two more years to go. We couldn't have been happier with the staff and teachers, especially during the challenges that COVID presented. One word sums up their attitude to the kids in the school: LOVE!! They are very patient and always the kids best interest and development ahead of everything else. Each child has a different rate of development and personality (as our girls do) and the staff recognizes this and works with the kids accordingly. We have been coming here For about 4 years now I have two boys and they absolutely love the school. Someone I knew recommended this school so when my son was 18 months I looked up a couple different schools in the area, set up tours and visit all before picking. Let me just start by saying this was the cleanest school and the most warm and loving vibe I got from all the schools my husband and I checked out. I have one son still attending, my second son finished last year and started tk at a different school, he is advanced in academics and I am constantly told hes above his age group and I owe that to new generation. It's a great play and academic place for children they made learning fun and the amounts of projects and actives they do at the school are amazing. I truly appreciate what they taught my children and the patience they had for my boys. My children were both potty trained pretty much at the school as well! OMG! Every parents anxiety about how to potty train, let me just say the teachers and owners can fully take credit for potty training my kids, they told me when they thought they were ready and within 2 weeks my kids caught on.... I could go on and on but this truly is a great school with great families and lifelong friends. They are great at complying with all the rules on the pandemic and I feel like I don't have a thing to worry about. It's clean sanitary, and they love the kids. He learned so much academically, and developed so much in the way of social skills that he could not be better prepared for Elementary School. As a first time mom, finding someone and somewhere to leave my son was a completely stressful and overwhelming task. I must say I searched several places before I finally landed at New Generation. Once I stepped foot in their door, I did not want to walk away without having my son enrolled. I was soooooo relieved and happy I cried. I knew this was the place and my search was over. My son has had quite the difficult road with separation anxiety. This makes leaving him hard, even to this day he still struggles. However, I am never stressed out when I leave my son. Zari greets him with a smile and my son reaches for her and waves goodbye to me. This is huge for him, so I know that he's in excellent hands. He does not do that for just anybody!!!! New Generation feels not only like a school, but a small extension of family. It's family owned and operated, and as each of my sons began preschool, both of my sons were immediately welcomed and became a part of the family. The teachers are cheerful and friendly and, when necessary, even and stern. My wife and I have been appreciative of the extra efforts the staff have all made when we wanted to carry over certain care and rearing practices, and both the teachers and Miss Niaz in particular have been able to offer ideas and solutions when we've been at our wits ends at home. While the facilities are not pre-fab new looking, they're always clean. The play yard is large enough for several classrooms at a time and is populated by play areas as well as small vegetable gardens, enthusiasm for the latter of which my sons have applied to our garden at home. My daughter has been enrolled here for a year and a half, and my little one will be joining her as soon as she's old enough. I can't say enough good things about this school. My wife and I looked at a lot of places, including some with bigger facilities, but we chose New Generation because all of the kids seemed to happy. It was a great choice. The staff is bright and enthusiastic, and caring and patient with the kids and very communicative with the parents. They know each child and their behavior, and they work with them individually. Their class sizes are perfect, and the kids are constantly engaged in interactive behavior. No TV babysitting here. You can't do better than this place, period. read more

My daughter has been at New Generation for almost two years now. Each teacher she's had has been caring and understanding, through her separation anxiety, her tantrums, her hugs, her joy... everything. My daughter has special dietary needs and they're ALWAYS careful about it. They've even taught the other kids about it so they're not trying to give my girl things she can't eat. This summer they're doing special activities every week, some of which involve 'summer food' items. When I asked if I could bring in special food for her to participate they said not to worry, they would provide appropriate food just for her, and I could check it to be 100% sure it was safe. That's AMAZING. If you have kids with allergies you know just how special that is. They really care that she doesn't feel left out. Yes, they have activities you have to pay extra for - I think that's GREAT. It's the perfect option for parents who want to give their kids Karate lessons without having to take them out of school and drive them elsewhere, but it's not forced on parents who aren't interested. Same goes for the music classes, soccer classes, and other enrichment programs. read more

Why aren't there more stars for me to rate them higher? When looking for a preschool for my son a year ago I stopped after checking this place out. Wasn't much from the outside (They've since repainted) but once I got inside... wow. It was clean, bright, full of art projects, the kids were happy, I didn't hear any yelling or crying.. The owner Nahid and the teachers were wonderful to talk to.... I had made my decision and felt good about it... New Gen it was! My son has some sensory issues and his teacher, Ms Stephanie (as well as the rest of the staff) were incredible at helping him overcome some of his obstacles. We just recently had to leave New Gen. I cried on his first day of school because I was leaving him in a new place on his own.... I cried on his last day because it was his last day there and New Gen has been incredible for him. My heart is broken. I do hope we can return someday soon. read more

My daughter went to this school for about an year. We had to take her out due to relocation purposes. This school is awesome, staff is souper-friendly and loving. My daughter was a highly pampered first child, always had special needs. I am really indebted towards Miss Stephanie and Miss Josephina for helping her acclimate to school environment and concept of sharing while learning. This was the first school for my daughter. Before she started here, all she knew was to be with mom and dad at home. But she transitioned so easily into her new surroundings, offcourse with the help of her teachers. It is a nice, clean facility where teachers really care. My child always came home clean, happy and healthy. Never had to worry about a thing - can't thank these people enough !! Our son started at 18 months and has had a stellar experience with all his teachers and the incredible staff. He has a significant allergy profile and keeping him safe and reaction free is a lot of additional work for a school. He has reactions often when we try to go to places such a park or play place. However he has never had an issue of any kind at New Gen because they really go the extra mile to make sure everyone is aware of allergies. I have received phone calls asking us questions regarding if he can eat items brought for the class. I really appreciate that they don't take chances and are happy to make the time to call a parent before letting a kid eat something not from his lunchbox. They have a lot of kids with restrictions or allergies and have done a great job keeping every kid safe. Beyond that they have a great and clean atmosphere, clean playground, neat classrooms, locked front door with card entry, and three directors who are just excellent. The teachers are loving and bring creativity to the class everyday. I interviewed every school in Burbank before finding this one and I saw it was truly a step well Above other schools. We couldn't be happier and o would highly rec this place for your children. Miss Niaz is someone you may reach when you visit the school and she is a great prep school leader. Highly organized, always smiling, and brings a level of security to the school that makes you feel like your kids are safe no matter what happens. The teachers and staff are so great. Kind and smart people that make dealing with kids all day look easy. Not sure how they do it, but so glad we have been able to find such a treasure of a school. I have been wanting to write a review for New Generation for a long time. Now that we have one more granddaughter getting ready to start preschool, I thought this would be a good time. We have had one of our grandchildren enrolled in that school for the last five years. We have watched them move from the youngest class to the kindergarten class, and we couldn't have been more pleased. I have to admit that I read the other reviews before I started mine, and I agreed with all of the positive reviews. However, I read a few with negative comments, and I was shocked. My feeling is that the people writing those reviews must have some kind of ax to grind with the staff at that school.Saying the school is dirty and the staff rude!!!!!!! It was like they were describing another place. It is certainly NOT the school where we take our granddaughter every day. My husband and I pick up our granddaughter almost every day. Several times, we had to go there to drop off a blanket or something our granddughter just couldn't do without. No matter when we showed up, we were always welcomed and told we could go in and see how she was doing. Never once was anyone ever rude. When we have to pick her up from school early, we usually stand in the back of the classroom until the lesson is over. There is a lot of learning that goes on at that school, and there is a lot of love. You can feel it when you watch the children interact with their teachers and the staff. When our youngest granddaughter is finally ready for preschool, there is no doubt where we want her to go. We can't recommend New Generation hightly enough. read more

I cannot say enough great things about New Generation! My daughter started attending when she was 18 months old, and sadly we just had her last day, as she gets ready to start her new adventure in Transitional Kindergarten. From her very first day, until her last....the wonderful women of New Generation have given their love and support, and have helped to shape my daughter into a smart, outgoing and caring girl. Academically, I feel she is more than prepared for TK. I really loved the balance of academic and play in the daily schedule of each class. My daughter will be 5 years old next month, and has been taught math (adding & subtracting), can write very well, and is reading basic words on her own. I also love all the creative art projects they do each day. Even during our "separation anxiety" phases, the teachers were so supportive and helpful. They assured me she was happy and engaged as soon as I left. Over the past 3 years, my daughter never said she had a bad day! If you're reading this, I assume you're researching preschools. It's a stressful process, and the thought of leaving your child in someone else's care can be overwhelming. After we had a negative experience having our daughter in an infant program at another daycare center, I cannot tell you what a blessing it was to find New Generation. my 8 year old brother goes here and he lovessss it. he was previously attending balboa elementary and the classes were over filled and he was getting low scores becuase there was not enough one on one time with the teacher. But at new generation it is alllllllll about small sized classes and focuing on the individual child. its been the best and now my lil cousin is going there too and her parents are extremely happy with the decision to change her out of public school to new generation. read more

My son was at this preschool from May 2009 through August 2012, my experience with this school is beyond excellent! My circumstances were different from most parents and I wasn't always around for my son; but when I was called to duty, I knew, that no matter what, my baby was in good hands! My son was learning things most kids his age were barely grasping, counting, colors, shapes, writing his name, letters, numbers, hand-eye coordination, socialization. I was a parent at this school for over 2 years. I continued sending my child there because I felt that the change in her daily routine would be a greater problem than the actual problems there at the school. BOY WAS I WRONG! My child has been working with a Child Psychologist. Being that New Generations is a licensed, Title 22, childcare facility working with the Frank D Lanterman Regional Center specifically categorized in working with children with Developmental Disabilities, I felt it even more concerning that they conceded without even trying. The school was very aware of the situation at hand and didn't undergo proper evaluation or care. The school is run by 3 women, Lily, Nahid and Lily's daughter Niaz. That is one of your major problems, too many hands in the pot. They are not all on the same page at all and they are not all there at the same time so you get different info depending on the day you go in. They do not communicate important information with each other so you may have the same conversation over and over. As a parent, you know how it is, you don't have a lot of extra free time to keep explaining yourself. Very frustrating! The office is located right when you first enter the school. When there is any issue with your child or payment, illness, etc., it is discussed in the office. Your personal issue/business is out there for every parent coming through the door to hear and observe. It is extremely unprofessional and frankly very embarrassing. For various reasons I am not willing to go into, I was talked to A LOT under these circumstances. I felt attacked and I felt due to the nature of the problem, it was disrespectful to discuss those things in an open area. A huge concern of mine is the play area in both the back of the school and front of the school. The back area is mostly sand. The sand is full of germs and I personally have seen cat feces in the sand when picking up my child. It is very unsanitary. When she first started there she came home with rashes and even hand foot mouth. Completely disgusting. The front play area was redone and cute however they did it without getting permits and were cited for it. They are not allowed to use it now. Another issue is the teachers. There are one or two good ones. One really good one left and it upset a ton of parents. She was one of two I can say actually cared and taught your kid something. The lack of knowledge the owners/director have in child development is astonishing. I know they say they have been doing this for YEARS but if they were educated in the type of business they own, these problems would not be problems. The owners like to hire their family members as teachers so I am not really sure how much experience or knowledge they actually have. Bottom line is that I feel like they own the school to make money and that is it. I feel as though your tuition pays for their fancy cars and trips to Europe. I don't feel it pays for quality teachers or a healthy environment for your child (both physically and mentally). No childcare center should ever give up on a child. I love "New Generation Preschool" my son has being coming here since he was 3 years old. Before this preschool; he was under the care of my mother but she got sick and we had to find him a good school. This school has being the perfect for us !!!!, the Directors are always smiling and ready to help out in anything they can. The teachers are sweet and carrying, they truly care for the children. We are soooo Happy to have found New Generation they are like family to all of us.. I couldn't ask for more!!!. I have my review on here already for my daughter that went to this school for a few years. This past August was my daughters last day, as she has moved on to Kindergarten. We miss New Generation so much!! Seeing all the smiling faces in the morning and the love that just radiates from there. My reason for writing this today is I got a call from my daughters teacher saying how advanced my daughter is and she has to ask her sometimes how old she is, because she is far ahead of her class. I told her the preschool she went to, had a lot to do with where she is at. She said, " I would recommend that school then to all parents". This school gets two thumbs up and if your thinking of sending your child here, know they are in the best hands.
