My husband and I have been taking the Child Parent Relationship Skills class and it's exactly what I needed and hoped for to get my relationship with my 8 yr old ASD kiddo back on track. The instructor, Barbara, is an amazing wealth of knowledge and it's so nice to be there with other parents in a community setting. I feel supported on this parenting journey for the first time in a long time. My kids attend the Whole Child Healing Circle with Emily at the same time & I regularly hear them say, "I love therapy!" I can't ask for much more than that. Thank you Barbara, Emily, & Innsaei!

Many of the individuals and families we work with are navigating anxiety, overwhelm, emotional regulation challenges, behavioral concerns at home or school, family conflict, and past experiences that still feel present. Rather than focusing only on behaviors, we look at the full emotional environment. We believe that when a child or parent feels safe and understood, things begin to shift naturally. Communication improves, regulation becomes more accessible, and patterns start to change in a way that actually lasts. Our work is grounded in connection, curiosity, and creating a space where people don’t feel judged or rushed.

Over my stay I learned healthy ways to cope and live my life without needing a outside source to provide it for me. Heritage is an outstanding school for all sorts of kids but particularly those on the spectrum and those who suffer from anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. I would strongly urge any parents who's kids are struggling to contact Heritage, it is the best place by far to attend and it really shows how much they care when they do extra stuff to make clients feel more "normal". Heritage hosts banquets periodically, and they have a prom set up as well as other dances and other fun activities. The therapy program at Heritage was key in my success and the added benefit of family therapy really sealed the deal for me! Anyway I hope this review helped you!

And I don't mean, sending your kid away to another state for some "tough love" or wilderness camp or some other crap like that If you are religious, I recommend getting rid of your "religious counselor" and going for somebody who is a member of the secular therapy project. Do not go here if your religious counselor recommends it. Seek other options feel free to message me if you need

Ms. Allie has helped foster a love of reading in my child that makes my heart smile. (I catch her sneaking in chapters of her books at night). Last year we had Ms Julia in kindergarten who was equally as engaging. I can't imagine a more loving and enriching environment for my daughter. We feel so grateful that the small town of Park City has such a progressive and heartfelt learning environment. At her age we wanted our daughter in a school where she was more than just a number. With the small class sizes and low student to teacher ratio they accomplish just that. The enrichment opportunities are many. From drama, to music, spanish, wellness classes and art. Not to mention wonderful after school options. At one point we wanted our daughter to be in one of the local bilingual schools but the spanish teacher at this school is wonderful! Ms K not only teaches them a new language but also includes lessons in mindfulness. Our daughter is able to keep up with her language skills and excel at reading and math which sometimes proves difficult in a bilingual setting. We definitely made the right choice with this school.
