We liked our other center but were nervous about my son moving up from his infant class. He loves to learn but also be nurtured. A spot opened up at Eastside and we jumped at the opportunity. Lacey (director) and his teachers were immediately welcoming. They helped him transition and he began to flourish. He was doing well at the previous center but he really blossomed. Eastside does a wonderful job appreciating my son for his uniqueness while helping to inspire development. His teachers have always been extremely caring, communicative, and supportive. As an only child, he learned to share and deal with conflicts at Eastside. As he got a bit older, he learned to help the younger kids, something he still does with his younger cousins and friend's siblings. plus he made good friends. We still arrange get-togethers now that they are in 8th grade. Eastside was always excellent to work with, even that time my son filled all the toilets with paper towels. Shout out to Ms. Lacey!

My 5 year old can name numerous insect body parts, count to 20 in Spanish, doing addition and subtraction on her own, solar systems, and the list goes on and on. She comes home excited about learning and explains in detail what she learned that day. For this age group, I know what a challenge they can be. Ms Mary, our whole family loves her. My daughter asks why she can't come on trips with us. She makes such an effort to love and support the children. She finds their interests and treats every child like they are her own. We have LOVED Montessori. If you are thinking of a school and are unsure, do not hesitate. It will be the best decision you make!

He struggles with ADHD and has been to more daycares than I can count on two hands. Lion is 6 and went to Wasatch Charter down the street, where his days were very hard! Children's cottage would pick him up and his day would turn around. Many days when picking up Lion he didn't want to leave. This told me one very important thing! That's kids could be kids there. That he felt seen and that his needs were being met. He genuinely had so much fun each and every day! The 2nd thing I have to say is the director/owner Dave and his wife are truly angels. They went above and beyond for my family in multiple ways. You can tell when people truly care about others! And they truly do. Their care and standard for how they show up trickles down to the teachers and to the children. In a world where everyone is so busy chasing a dollar, that they can't pause to truly be present to others and their experience! I found hope at the Children's Cottage and to my surprise not just for my son but for myself as well. Running a daycare center cannot be easy, but I appreciate that they still take time to send pictures and updates of what's happening in the day-to-day of my child. Safety and cleanliness are top priorities at this center, and that's a huge reason why I landed at LG. I love the Procare app that they use, and that they're very familiar with the families creating a safe pickup / dropoff environment. No one other than the children are going inside of the daycare and they have a camera system at the front door ensuring additional safety before opening their doors. My son is excited to go to LG every day (he's 20 months and has been here since March of this year). He is absolutely in love with the staff, especially Miss Estefania. I truly feel like they love and care for my child as if he were their own, and what more could you ask for? It's always hard leaving your child with people who feel like strangers, but this team feels like family now. I have not seen high turnover so that has also been very reassuring over time that this was a great decision! I really appreciate the admin team - Gloria, Jhennifer, and Desiree. They do a great job managing the chaos from day-to-day! Hopefully this review helps put some parents at ease. I never want to discount anyone else's opinions or experiences, but I cannot relate to the negative reviews whatsoever. 5 stars from this momma, and I was NOT prompted to write this post. After pre-school her reading was impressive but one month into Kindergarten it has taken off! They do a lot of learning through songs and it's fun listening to our daughter sing some of them when she's playing in her room or just doing her own thing. The teachers have all been there a long time and are very good at their jobs. She has made a lot of friends and even though some of her pre-school pals didn't return for Kindergarten we've stayed in touch with them and the parents have been good to get to know as well. Others have made assertions about the security. As a parent with a child enrolled I will say that security at the campus is fine. Only an idiot would publish their security details online but having had my child there for going on two full years I am happy with what they do. Also the police station is literally across the street. Not near by, across the street.
