Used to be a good place for your needs. Not anymore, charges a fee to use credit or debit card and it's a just not worth the hassle

The staff is rude and arrogant. Also not up to speed on product knowledge. I will only go to Alternatives in the future.

Adult oriented review…read more... Having been an open and active swinger every minute of my adult life, I check out as many swingers "lifestyle" clubs as I possibly can. I love seeing how different clubs in different cities set themselves up. Plus, any excuse to meet new people and play with them is a good reason. My wife had some business things to handle via zoom in the hotel room so I went over to this club myself. I had just visited the one in New Orleans a few days earlier and was excited to check this one out. Of course, there is always the waivers, fees and check in stuff when new at any club. As a single female for the night, they definitely streamlined the process. Single, attractive women that swing are treated like royalty at swing clubs. This club was no different. Once was inside, having forgotten to bring anything to drink, as this club was byob, I found myself alcohol deficient. I had to barter for drinks and had fun making trades. If you get my meaning. I found this club fun, clean and had plenty of attractive, fun and play minded men and women. The staff were all pleasant and I saw nobody pushing nor violating the rules. There was a good mix of ages from mid twenties to people in their sixties. Nobody pressured me nor made me feel uncomfortable in any way. I found four like minded women and really enjoyed their company. I only stayed for about three hours but I really enjoyed it. If I lived in the Dallas area, I'd certainly be a member and spend my Saturday nights there. If swinging is your thing or you just like to watch and enjoy the vibe, this club is for you.

PARKING - If you park in the garage next door The sweet tooth hotel will validate your ticket. However, I do recommend TAKING A UBER!!! I visited two weeks ago, the elevator in the parking garage was broken!! The wouldn't go down, only up. Let's me clear - I am not that lazy, I will walk when needed. However my friend has a busted knee, which wouldn't allow her to climb stairs. She's already walking like a pirate. I went to 3 other parking garages before I found one that felt safe with an easy walk. We purchased tickets in advance ($17 - Super Sweet Karaoke) General Admisson. As we entered The Sweet Tooth Hotel you could hear the off-key Karaoke in the bar area. We received a room key at the desk for the additional 7-8 rooms. The first three rooms were vibrant and full of local art installations. I was obsessed with the Mad Hatter's tea Party themed room. The bar is fun! Lots of reflective mirrors. You can purchase desserts here as well as cocktails. I wish this place stayed open until 1am. We stayed until closing which was (11pm) I ordered the "sunset dream" cocktail. All cocktails are $8 on Fridays. The bartender gave great suggestions. I would definitely recommend going here if you're in the city.

The "magic parlor" is in a space on Exposition near Fair Park. There's street parking or a couple of paid lots if the street is full. The space is pretty small, but didn't feel cramped with 50 or so guests. I booked my ticket online for $20 through Prekindle. You can also pay another $10 to reserve seats in the front two rows. We strolled in and they checked us in. Seats were first come first serve so we were in the very back. My friend brought in his cooler of booze, but I also noticed there were a few free bottles of wine at the front and some bottle water. Very nice! David Jessup a local comedian opened the show and was the MC all night between acts with the help of Audrey Grace who opened and closed the curtains and held up the applause sign when David was bombing (haha). There were a couple of burlesque dancers at this show. One, Bethany Summersizzle, danced a few times. The other, Jai Le Bait did crazy stunts like swallow a knife! Confetti Eddie is the main performer and he reminded me of the old timey black and white movies where the folks didn't talk. He was so cute and charming. He did a few corny magic tricks that were still very fun to watch! Popper Zander was on hand this Friday night and played a few songs of her own that went well the night's burlesque/side show theme. Overall we had such a fun night. It's kind of awesome turning your cell phone off for an hour or so and enjoying a show with live performers. Keep up with Confetti Eddie on FB to see the next upcoming shows!

Both were very good and the tricks were fun. The venue is very intimate and had only seats 50 or so - which meant that virtually all of the audience had the chance to participate in the show at some point. The show itself had several acts along with two musical interludes from the Wild Natives (who were also quite good). Afterwards the performers invite the audience for drinks at one of the bars close by. We had a great time and would recommend it.

My granddaughter had a private birthday party scheduled for her and a few of her friends. It was an amazing experience! She and her friends loved it!! Me too!! The party coordinators/servers did an excellent job taking care of us and keeping the party on schedule for the 1 1/2 hour timeframe. They started by letting everyone know the schedule of events- a small craft, a couple of games, appetizers, lunch entree and a birthday cake! The craft and a few other items were included in the party favor bags. Thank you American Girl Place for making our Birthday Girl feel so special! She'll remember this day forever!

Being our 4th time back what sticks me most is the dramatic inconsistency. One year great the next a mess. This year the service was very slow. We did not get our cinnamon roles until after entrees were served. We did the add in Birthday Pack. They did not have the crowns for the girls or dolls. The cake was tiny. We did not even get 5 small pieces; last year 6 of us each had a piece with leftovers. Food was good and there is a good selection. Unfortunately my chicken and waffles was cold as was my granddaughter's Mac n cheese. Overall my granddaughter had a very good time but as an adult I found the experience disappointing with the slow service, inconsistent attention to refills and time between things. Also had to ask waitress multiple times for most things. The Birthday add on was skimpy and not worth $. Lunch price is very expensive for children reasonable for adults.

Parking was a little different since we parked across the street, but it was free, which was a nice surprise. The restrooms were clean, there were snacks and drinks available, and since we weren't sure what to expect, we ate beforehand. The real magic was watching all four of my kids, ages 4 to 12, find something they genuinely loved. That doesn't happen everywhere! From arts and crafts to climbing, sliding, exploring, and creating, there was something for every personality and energy level. No one was bored. Not even for a minute. As a mom, I appreciated the clean environment, family friendly atmosphere, and free Wi-Fi. As a M.O.M.=maker of memories maker, I loved seeing my kids laugh, play, and discover new things together. One of my sons loves art and couldn't wait to walk around this interactive museum. I thought I was bringing my boys to admire the art and to have a good time, but I too had a very enjoyable experience. We visited on a Thursday, a little after noon. It was not too busy at the time, so we were able to truly enjoy the experience without a crowd of people. When we first walked in, we were surprised to find an entire house behind the door. That was the first of the surprises Meow Wolf held. I will not spoil all of the surprises here, but I must say that we were pleasantly surprised as we went through the exhibit. I could tell a lot of work went into making the various rooms and art in the rooms, and I commend the artists' creativity and downright ingenuity. It is true that everything won't appeal to everyone, and I do not know anyone who likes all music that comes on the radio, all art in a museum, or all books that are in a bookstore. The things that we liked, we savored, and the things that we did not like (which wasn't much), were ignored. As I made my way through some of the exhibits, I felt like a child in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. The colors were so vivid, and the art in some areas just seemed to pop off the wall. My sons love having the ability to touch and interact with the art and not just look at it. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and are already planning our return.
