DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!…read more I made the giant mistake of hiring Rescue Cleaning & Fire Restoration after a pipe burst in my home. They moved all of my property - furniture, appliances, etc. - into their storage facility to complete repairs, which included replacing the flooring and some drywall. The day before they told me they would move me back into my home, they sent a fraudulent invoice with $5k worth of work they did not do, and informed me that they would be holding all of my property hostage until the phony bill was paid in full. Flat out extortion. This situation has been dragging on for months, with no end in sight. They wait a week or more between communications, refusing to provide any substantive information to my insurance adjuster or to provide an accurate, written invoice. Anytime they have been forced to remove one fraudulent charge they just make up a new one to take its place. There is not enough space here to detail all of the horrors of dealing with these con men (but if you're interested, you can look up the formal complaint I filed with the IL Atty General). They are the most disreputable, dishonest company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. With all the nonsense I have been subjected to by these people it's almost a secondary issue, but the work they actually DID do was incredibly overpriced and unprofessional (eg: charging $700 to paint an empty 10'x12' room, the end result of which was markedly worse than the previous DIY job). Experiencing a significant loss in your home through a flood or a fire is stressful and traumatic enough on its own. Don't make your situation infinitely worse by getting involved with con men. Save yourself the heartache and hire literally ANYONE ELSE. These scammers take advantage of people for a living and should be in prison.

Even into her early nineties, while taking care of our dad, she cooked, even though she herself wasn't well. Towards the end as her energy waned, her cooking never suffered but the cleaning did. When she passed away, we knew we'd have to host condolence callers and family. With so many other tasks to tackle following Mom's death, my sister and I knew we'd need help with the house. Best Friends Cleaning came to our rescue, fastidiously cleaning not just Mom's beloved much-used kitchen, but the living room, dining room, and a bathroom and family room on a lower level. The crew was friendly, pleasant, prompt, and worked the entire time they were at the house. And boy, do those ladies know how to clean! In just a little over two hours, the place was sparkling. And, by the way, theirs was the lowest bid. Highly recommend!
