Walked in at 1030 on a Tuesday, asked if they take walk-ins, they said they did and it would be 30 minutes, sounds good. 45 minutes go by and nothing, then someone else walks in, another walk in, apparently he knows one of the barbers and they immediately take him. I am so disgusted on the work they did on my son!! I stormed out of there crying and so fast I was beyond pissed off!!! They messed up my sons beautiful long hair!! He chopped it all off after I told him I wanted just a half inch off and I freakin showed him a picture of how I wanted it and he still messed it all up!!! Moved to town recently and finally needed a haircut. I had a consistent person cutting my hair for a couple of years before the move and finding a new person can be a struggle. After one failed attempt at a "men's salon" out of town, I Found New Era via Yelp and saw that they were down the street from my office and had solid reviews. Called to make an appointment the day before without any issue. As of 10/22 they only accept cash and check. The interior has the necessities of a classic barber shop. Four chairs for four barbers and a TV on the wall. David was my barber and he did a great job. He nailed the classic cut and checked in often to make sure he was taking enough off and that I liked the proportions. Ended the cut with a straight razor shave on the back of the neck and some talc. When I was home later that night I was really able to see the detail and how clean his lines were. He obviously took a lot of care through the cut and it shows. The price is great for the high quality of the cut. I'll be back monthly. read more

Best haircut I have had in years. David was my barber. He gave me a cut I've never tried and nailed it. I think he used like 30 different clipper heads. Very detailed. He finished it off with a razor-cut part, with the precision of a surgeon. This place is legit! I will definitely return.
