Been going to Kyle for a year now. Does a great job cutting my sons and my hair. Would totally recommend.

Kyle is the man!!!! First of all, he saw me without an appointment. Secondly, his knowledge of beards was awesome. Every man should visit this guy and get a tutorial. 10/10 for sure :) His ability to do a straight edge on my head was on point. read more

Robert cut my husbands hair and gave him his very first beard trim and he did amazing! While his barber skills are great, his personality is what made my husbands experience spectacular! He is super friendly, professional and just a super cool dude. Go book an appointment with Robert now! Highly recommended! My husband said after how he almost wanted to fall asleep when he put the warm damp towel over his face, the special touches go along way. Thank you Robert for making my husbands first professional beard trim experience a 5 star!! We will be back :) read more

I have been going to new Era for some years now. I always got to junior and I call him my barber. He is always accommodating and has never left me with a bad cut. His schedule proves his skills, he keeps very busy and can be hard to book at times. That's the cost of being good and wanted by his customers. I recommend this shop to family and friends! read more

This is the first time I have been to a barbershop in nearly 30 years. Kyle, the new guy on the block, did a fabulous job. I got the works: haircut, mustache trim, eyebrows trim, and shave. The price was right and the service was wonderful. I highly recommend Kyle and the other barbers in the store. read more

Been a long time since I had a proper haircut, supercuts has been my go to, sorry. I couldn't get my hair to do what I wanted, style wise. Managed to get a last minute appt with AJ? It was the lady barber, ( apologies to forget your name). She gave me an awesome cut, explained why the prior cuts weren't working, showed me how to use my styling product. Awesome. Will definitely be back, no more Supercuts for me. read more

Amazing fades and customer service! My sons love coming to get their fades done! Jr the owner and all his staff are professional and courteous! Shop is clean, kid and mom friendly! Out with the boys needed to look good. This placed hooked me up. The ladies never had a Chance. Referred all my boys to this spot and I may regret it. Now I won't be the freshest in town. If you want a good environment and a straight cut come by and check it out. read more

I went here the morning of my wedding and Roy did a fantastic job cleaning up my beard and he styled my hair too because I was clueless about how to use the product that I bought. Absolutely too notch experience twice. Thursday night I stopped by and asked if they had time for a shave and hot towel before dinner. Frank saw me right away and I left feeling like a million bucks. Saturday night Junior saw me to clean up my cut and get me ready for lockdown. Cannot recommend New Era Barbershop enough. The cut and shave were awesome, and the men's gifts took care of a few upcoming birthdays! read more

Best barbershop I've ever been to in my life. Going to New Era is SO much more than merely getting a haircut. Yes, they are incredibly fast, masterful, modern, friendly, competitively-priced, but even more than that: New Era provides an experience through their skilled barbers where you leave feeling more confident about yourself. In a year where a whole lot isn't going great, YOU leave looking great and feeling great. I'm confident that you will LOVE New Era. read more

Walked in at 1030 on a Tuesday, asked if they take walk-ins, they said they did and it would be 30 minutes, sounds good. 45 minutes go by and nothing, then someone else walks in, another walk in, apparently he knows one of the barbers and they immediately take him. At that point I just walked out. You don't like walk-ins say so and no problem, but do not let someone sit there and then be jumped, because your buddy walked, that's just bad taste and furthermore bad business. Last time I stop by. read more

My fiancé gets his hair cut here about once a month by Junior. Junior is the only person he trusts because let's face it.. guys are super picky with their hair and he is the absolute best. And even better, he actually works pretty dang fast compared to a lot of other barbers. But at the same time, Junior is still a perfectionist. Just make sure you make an appointment because sometimes they can get super busy! It definitely has the an old school/chill barber vibe going on so if that's what you're looking for, then this is the place for you! read more

I am so disgusted on the work they did on my son!! I stormed out of there crying and so fast I was beyond pissed off!!! They messed up my sons beautiful long hair!! He chopped it all off after I told him I wanted just a half inch off and I freakin showed him a picture of how I wanted it and he still messed it all up!!! It's completely uneven and looks like a little kid just got scissors and chopped away at it!!! I'm absolutely disgusted and appalled at the bullshit they did to my poor son!! Never coming here again!!!!!! read more

Moved to town recently and finally needed a haircut. I had a consistent person cutting my hair for a couple of years before the move and finding a new person can be a struggle. After one failed attempt at a "men's salon" out of town, I Found New Era via Yelp and saw that they were down the street from my office and had solid reviews. Called to make an appointment the day before without any issue. As of 10/22 they only accept cash and check. The interior has the necessities of a classic barber shop. Four chairs for four barbers and a TV on the wall. David was my barber and he did a great job. He nailed the classic cut and checked in often to make sure he was taking enough off and that I liked the proportions. Ended the cut with a straight razor shave on the back of the neck and some talc. When I was home later that night I was really able to see the detail and how clean his lines were. He obviously took a lot of care through the cut and it shows. The price is great for the high quality of the cut. I'll be back monthly. read more

Had a long wait because it was Friday but was totally worth it. Reina on the first chair took care of me and my buddy and she cut it exactly the way we asked her too. Real cool shop but had to give it 4 because you can't see the tv when you're waiting lol Thanks for the cut Reina! read more

I walked in off the street and was given Reina. She gave me the iciest, freshest cut available in Paso Robles. Not sure what's sharper, her razor or her wit. I got a fade and a beard trim and my girlfriend was very happy. read more

Forget this place! I just walked in 5:15 (they close at 5:30) and they said "they were done for he day." I didn't even dispute it, if they don't want my money that bad then fine I'll go to somewhere that does. The guys tried to say something about coming back tomorrow and I just turned around and walked out mid sentence. New Era get your customer service game up! read more

A great place to go to for a cut. Junior takes his time and always makes sure that my haircut is exactly how I like it.

I've been getting cuts from Eddie for 8 years at the shop. I always feel like a new man when I leave. The other barbers are also welcoming and friendly. I recommend New Era for anyone and any style cut read more

I brought my 1 1/2 year old in here today. I was very hesitant taking my son to a barber in general since it is pretty much a mans domain. Walking threw the door all the barbers were welcoming and didn't make me feel like an outsider. David volunteered to do my sons haircut and it was absolutely amazing. He had such patience with us and I am so grateful!! My son is obviously unsure about haircuts still and David waited until he was comfortable and believe me... It took a long time. I'm writing this review to sincerely thank David. Even the work is the absolute best my son has ever gotten, David went as far as lining him up. So thank you so much again!! Allowing my boy to be comfortable with you and not taking any shortcuts. read more

Best haircut I have had in years. David was my barber. He gave me a cut I've never tried and nailed it. I think he used like 30 different clipper heads. Very detailed. He finished it off with a razor-cut part, with the precision of a surgeon. This place is legit! I will definitely return. Price is good, wait is long-ish but worth it, and seriously TIP BIG HERE people! You would be paying $80 bucks a cut if this Shop was in the city. read more
