Located conveniently on East Jericho Turnpike, it serves as a reliable sanctuary for high-quality nail care in a town with many options. The first thing you notice upon entering is the bright, airy, and modern aesthetic of the salon. It is meticulously maintained, which is a significant factor for any frequent salon-goer. The workstations are organized, and there is a visible commitment to sanitizing tools and maintaining a clean space for every client. The overall vibe is calm and professional, making it an ideal spot to decompress. The technicians at P & J are known for their technical skill and artistic attention to detail. Whether you are coming in for a standard manicure or a more complex set of UV gels or acrylics, the staff takes the necessary time to ensure the foundation--the shaping and cuticle work--is flawless. Many regulars praise the longevity of their gel manicures, noting that the application is thin enough to look natural but strong enough to withstand daily wear without lifting or chipping for weeks. The spa pedicure services are a highlight, featuring high-quality products and a focus on relaxation that goes beyond a simple polish change. What truly differentiates P & J Nails is the consistency of the results. There is a clear standard of excellence that every technician follows, so you can feel confident regardless of who is providing your service. They manage their appointment schedule effectively, ensuring that even during busy weekend hours, the experience does not feel rushed or impersonal. For anyone in the Huntington or Elwood area looking for a nail salon that balances luxury with affordability, P & J is a top-tier choice. The combination of a pristine facility, skilled technicians, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a standout business in the local beauty industry.

These pics were taken 6 day later on Nov 27th. I trusted the reviews on Yelp and tried here because I wanted a place close to work. I paid well over $65 for these and I have had gel powder nails before that lasted 3 weeks. I don't even know I trust to go back there for them to fix it.

Everyone loves Park Nails, except for me. I've had too many bad experiences here. I'll take you…read moreback to March 2021. They have a sign on their door that says please wear a mask. I was thrilled they had this because this isn't an in and out stop, you're committed to at least an hour in here in close quarters with other people. There was a woman next to me in the pedicure chair not wearing a mask and knowing I would be there for a while I asked her to put a mask on. I really don't care. If you're the only person in the entire salon not wearing one, there's a problem. She was so sweet and immediately threw one on. However, when she was going to pay, the owner of this nail salon apologized to her that I had asked her to put a mask on and offered her free service. I was humiliated. You have a sign on your door that says everyone must wear a mask, all the employees are wearing masks and then when I politely ask her to put one on you give her free service? I couldn't believe it. It was as if I was in the wrong while I was actually following their policies. Like I said, embarrassing. This nail salon charges exponentially more than others in the area. I was in last Wednesday for a gel manicure, they charge $40 for this. I had powder gel on when I arrived so they had to remove that first. They charged me an additional $10 for removing the powder gel without telling me they would do that. NO other salon charges you to have gel removed if you're going there to get another gel manicure, which I was. Their gel color selection is awful, their powder gel color selection is worse. And yet, they charge much much more than other salons in the area. For what? The horrible classical music playing on repeat? The nail equipment that they use on you and throw back into the same box they'll use on the next client? No sterilization, no cleaning, I was completely grossed out. They use the same pink reusable nail clips for each client without washing in between clients. They use the same nail clippers and buffers from client to client, I watched it first hand. My gel manicure is chipping and it's been 5 days. I don't know why people love this salon but for the price, they should clean their equipment and a gel manicure should last for a minimum of 2 weeks. Will not be back.
