There are a number of professionals working from this office and every single one of them, especially the two that I've worked with directly as well as the office admin are absolutely wonderful! From what I can tell, each of the staff members specialize in a few different areas of focus so that every need/issue is addressed. Being in my early 30's and not having gone to speak with someone since college, I did feel a bit apprehensive about calling to make my first appointment but once I heard the EXTREMELY sweet and pleasant voice on the other end of the line, it was as if it were meant to be. I've never felt more welcomed and comfortable! All the way down to the color of the walls and the soothing music in the living room-like waiting area... Just walking through the door gives the feeling of calm. It's unfortunate that there's such a stigma surrounding "going to a counselor", honestly, going to Woodland Professional Associates has been the most INTERESTING and thought provoking experience I've ever had! I look forward to LEARNING about myself and seeing things from a number of different views (different ways to look at things) and most of all, the reciprocated meaningful conversation! My family have been patients of Dr. Mary Pearson of New Creation Healing center for 23 years and we absolutely love her. She is thorough, kind, patient and knowledgeable, has a very comforting bedside manner and I have never felt rushed during a visit. Her staff is friendy and patient. When my son was in the emergency room on a Sunday, I contacted her and she literally showed up at the hospital within 15 minutes and tended to him for the rest of his visit, which was a big relief to us. I can truly say that her practice is not about the money as so many practices are. When my husband was laid off and we had no health insurance, Dr. Pearson worked with us to accommodate our needs and she went above and beyond to be sure we didn't go without the care or medications that we needed. Once we were back on our feet, her office worked with us to set up a reasonable payment plan that we were comfortable with to satisfy the little balance that we had. I see her Massage Therapist Jennon a regular basis, for frequent debilitating headaches from a car accident and I can honestly say that she keeps me functioning. I can't remember the last time I had a headache. Her practice is a full service practice, and I can't say enough good things about her. Obviously, everyone's health and results will vary, but I can at least attest to the fact that I've gone through not one, but three (3) chiropractors prior to Dr. Fudge. In hindsight, I learned that the other chiropractic methods only essentially acted like a Band-Aid, and did NOT create a solution. The pain kept coming back. One chiropractor had me sign a 2-year contract. If that happens, run away! Another chiropractor had all of these fancy machines that overstimulated my muscles, making me think something was wrong with me when the reality was it was an unbalanced electric massage. The other chiropractor pretty much said I couldn't lift more than 5 lbs. indefinitely, otherwise "my atlas would slip out," which is not the case. Consequently, my health was deteriorating before I began visiting Dr. Fudge. Now, my neck pain is GONE and my gait has improved. When you're in pain for so long living day-to-day, you begin to forget what it's like to feel normal. Now that I'm "living again" I'm capable of lifting more weight and feeling more comfortable when I'm on the computer for long periods of time. I have Dr. Fudge to thank for truly upholding the Hippocratic Oath. If you are having a similar experience or you know someone who is, please know that you need to look no further - Dr. Fudge is your chiropractic "Wonder Woman."
