He has provided great relief that lasts. He also treated me after Bell's Palsy and I had no lasting effects. My left shoulder did not respond to a cortisone injection. He treated me and combined with physical therapy it feels great. In fact, my PT who is with Brigham and Women's in Boston is greatly impressed with the care I received. She has her PHD in PT and asked me for Dr. Edelstein's cards so she could refer patients to him. The staff is friendly and helps you feel at home. They deal with my crazy schedule and always find a way to work me in when I most need treatment. I highly recommend this practice which was initially referred to me by 2 friends who are also patients. PS. Not that it matters but Dr. Edelstein has also treated some of the Bruins and Patriots. So I called Maroon's office in hope I can stop the rabbit hole of pain a pain dr.'s cortisone shots and or surgery. The first visit he went through my results with the images and my complaint/s then starting to work on the area that needed attention, he was straight forward and told me I will try my best and we can hope for the best, however there is a chance it may not work and at that point I will let you know as to not have you waste time or money. Within one visit I was still not back, but could tell that I chose the correct path and place. I must have gone two or three times before I would consider myself back to at least 85% better, now days are completely great (no pain) and at worst back to the 85%. I now know I made the correct choice at the correct time. I still go every once and awhile if I feel as though I pushed myself too much. I need to add that I truly was nervous and kept thinking how can I live in pain like this my whole life, I wouldn't get to play with my daughter nor work on without constant pain. I don't know how he did it but I am grateful and my mind is at ease now, so much that I cancelled my pain dr.'s apt. I would now consider Maroon a friend not only due to the help but because he is also, honest, to the point and connects with patients. Just drove over 16 hours last week and came home to cut down some trees and complete an assembly of a 400lb piece of equipment. my coworker referred me to him. The difference is seriously astonishing!! When I went to the office for the first time I was in so much pain that I was in tears just getting in and out of my car. I was literally unable to sit with my back at a 90-degree angle because I was so hunched over. The pain was everywhere : my neck, back, shoulder, elbow, hands, wrists and head! All of those pains are virtually gone. I get occasional flare ups when I'm in front of the computer too long or sitting in the same position too long without stretching and I will continue to go to HFC every several weeks for "maintenance" - I actually really like it and it's a great reminder to stretch and sit up straight! My posture has improved significantly. It's crazy how much it's improved! I don't think I can say enough great things about Dr. Mark and everyone at HFC.
