The front staff and all of the technicians are top notch. Dr Pandya, in my opinion, is the best dentist I have had the privilege to know. She cares for her patients and her professionalism is second to none. Her whole staff treat you like family, and I do mean like family. They set the bar very high that if I went somewhere else, I would probably be disappointed. Can I give 10 stars please?

This was years ago. I could of said alot back then but I was raised if you dont have something nice to say just keep it to yourself Welp. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with Dr. Pandya's office. I called the practice today with a simple, straightforward question: I was inquiring if Dr. Pandya is still practicing to then ask a question about a brand used to get an idea of what I would want in the future with my Dentist (not at this practice) . I was not seeking to make an appointment, nor was I identifying myself as a current or former patient. My only purpose was to gather information, about bonding I had done there over a decade ago. To my surprise, I was told by the receptionist (either Anna or Anne) that I was "dismissed" from the practice. I corrected her, explaining that I had voluntarily left the practice due to a pattern of dismissive behavior and unprofessional interactions, including Dr. Pandya's short temper and condescending attitude toward me when I asked routine questions about my treatment. I remember very clearly signing withdrawal documents and requesting that my records be sent to a new dentist in 2020. The conversation left me uncomfortable, as it was implied that I was dismissed, when in fact, I made the decision to leave of my own accord years ago. Then assumed that I called to make an appointment just because I asked if the Dr still practices and takes appointments. I called back to speak with someone more senior, I spoke with Bridgette. While I tried to explain the situation, she continuously interrupted me and became defensive. It is frustrating to be misrepresented, especially after I made every effort to leave the practice on my own terms and with all due documentation in place. Brigette was so condensing even when she said she would change it to reflect that (which she probably wont) but even then she said it like "ok since its soooo serious to you we can change it." But who would want their record showing patient dismissed by practice when it was you as the patient who finally had enough mistreatment and called the office to withdrawal and went through that process? I wish to state for the record that I was not "dismissed" from this practice--I chose to leave. Any documents or notes to the contrary are inaccurate, and I trust that this will be corrected moving forward as Bridgette said she would 12/20/24. She even read the notes from years ago where it shows I asked for my records to be sent to my new dentist yet the first thing "Anne said was you cant get an appointment you were dismissed." I wasnt calling to make one Annnnneeee, I'd never go back to them, so funny they would even think that. But God is too good I rather focus on what I am grateful for, but I do see things never improved in that office. I am glad I made the switch. Brigette kept yelling over me when I would try to complete a sentence, and then when I tried to explain I wasnt calling to make an appointment, she literally cut me off again to say "SINCE YOU WANT TO KEEP TALKING OVER ME I AM ENDING THE CALL. *CLICK*" I have never been so disrespected for literally calling to ask about a brand. But I also see how quickly people mistreat you when they see "dismissed by practice" I know and God knows I withdrew from this negative place, many years ago. My only regret is even calling today, they will never know it was literally to praise the brand she used back then and see what type it was fo rmy dentist, That was it. To Anne, Bridgette, and Dr. Pandya: I wish you all healing and peace. I pray that your practice will one day reflect the professionalism and care that patients deserve. You have many great reviews here. But I also remember being a patient, and being asked to leave a good review as I left also. God bless.

Methodical and very deliberate, I walked out of his office with my teeth looking better than before my accident! Dr. Isaac is, to use a word I avoid, "amazing." This a saying a lot since I rarely write about an experience unless it is really bad. Since I am soooo pleased I wanted to send a shout to the world. Dr. Isaacs took the time and care to work on a delicate situation. I had severe bone loss in the front of my mouth. In fact I was told by a well known dentist in the area that it was his professional opinion that an implant was not possible and that he also recommended additional teeth be pulled since the decay appears to be spreading. Dr. Isaacs did his own analysis and worked to cultivate the bone. Over time, he was able to generate enough bone to support an implant. He took the time to ensure that there was enough bone and that the implant would stick. I was fearful that I would have massive discoloration, crooked teeth, etc. Dr. Isaac has restored my smile. I am officially done treatment and my smile looks fabulous. For those in need of good dental work in a relaxed and fun environment, I recommend that you visit Isaacs & Isaacs Family Dentistry. You will love the treatment and the experience. N. Holly

It took a lot for me to share this, but I need to. Dr. Arpit Patel at Delaware Smiles Design made…read morean already painful experience worse. I had composite bonding on my peg laterals done years ago at another office. After moving back to Delaware, I felt pressure from my #7 tooth and booked with Dr. Patel. He suggested removing the bonding, which I agreed to, hoping for relief. Over multiple appointments, I had a cleaning, X-rays, and an Invisalign scan, even though he said I didn't need braces. I tried to communicate where I felt the jamming under the gum line and asked him to feel the area with a gloved hand. Though he agreed something was there, I could tell my attempts to advocate for myself made them uncomfortable. I apologized, even cried, just trying to be heard. When he brought out a model set of teeth, I thought I could show him, but he said, "Yeah, because I wasn't about to keep putting my fingers in your mouth," and the hygienist laughed. I felt humiliated. I stayed respectful, overly kind, because I know how Black women are often perceived. I had no reason to apologize for being in pain, but I did, just to be taken seriously. Once we agreed to remove the bonding, I thought it would be done that day. Instead, I was told we were out of time and to reschedule. Another visit, another co-pay. At the front desk, the receptionist ignored me while making calls. I left feeling humiliated. When I followed up to schedule, they acted like I was a bother. Once the bonding was finally removed, the issue remained. I tried to follow up with Dr. Patel again, but they kept brushing me off. The discomfort started affecting my sinuses, causing a fizzing feeling and headaches. I decided to see a periodontist. I called Delaware Smiles Design to request my X-rays and let them know I was moving forward with a new provider. Tia said Dr. Patel had noted that I should be referred to a periodontist if issues continued. When I arrived at the new office, the Office Manager told me Dr. Patel didn't just send X-rays, he sent a separate document with a personal paragraph about me. In it, Dr. Patel wrote that I was difficult, rude to staff, and even considered dismissing me from his practice, though he never did. He never expressed any of this to me directly. I was overly kind and patient, yet this is what he chose to do behind the scenes. I was reduced to a stereotype just for asking questions and expressing pain. It was a slap in the face. I remember the hygienist falling asleep during my visit, the receptionist ignoring me, and the phone going unanswered unless I called from my work number. They wrote me off from the start. Apparently, me not silently going with the flow was too much. I stopped calling and found help on my own. For Dr. Patel to take the time to send such a harmful message to my new provider was cruel. Even the new Office Manager said this wasn't the first time he's done that. I'll never understand. I feed the homeless, uplift my community, and was simply trying to get relief. I gave grace and patience, yet I was mistreated and further slandered. As a dark-skinned Black woman, I know what it's like to be dismissed for advocating for myself. You would be shocked what some providers say about you in your records. I'm glad I know now. He would have smiled in my face this week thinking I never saw what he said about me. This whole experience was deeply dehumanizing. I requested a copy of what was sent to my new provider, and Tia only sent the X-rays, not the paragraph from Dr. Patel. Interesting. Dr. Patel's smile doesn't match his handshake. I still wish him well in life. I am thankful to have found a new dentist who cares. I've let Delaware Smiles Design know I've decided to leave their practice and won't be attending any cleaning this week. This review is not to slander him, but to share my experience, yours may be different and I truly hope it is. God bless. Choose kindness.
