These butchers are better and always cheaper than leading supermarkets. Another added bonus to this wonderful butchers is the cheese. They are not too expensive either - they are such good value. We usually stock up when we go there - as we live quite a way away. Their meat is also very good and they also do a delicatessen. Their sausages are also excellent - a really high meat content and a large variety of choice. They also sell cheeses of all kinds. the shop is quite large and very clean. The staff are very friendly and chatty and very willing to help you with anything.

We apologised and said we'd get some cash out and come back but the butcher insisted we take the purchases and pay next time we where in! We had never been in before and such a gesture was completely unheard of for either myself or my boyfriend. We were so shocked (in a good way) at his trustworthiness we went straight to the bank and got some cash out and paid him the same day. We have been back a number of times and the meat is exquisite, not to mention the staff wonderful.
