We apologised and said we'd get some cash out and come back but the butcher insisted we take the purchases and pay next time we where in! We had never been in before and such a gesture was completely unheard of for either myself or my boyfriend. We were so shocked (in a good way) at his trustworthiness we went straight to the bank and got some cash out and paid him the same day. We have been back a number of times and the meat is exquisite, not to mention the staff wonderful.

This Tesco has just about all an extra store can offer - pharmacy, photo processing, cafe, tesco direct, car wash, cafe, recycling and a petrol station opposite. In store they have a fish and meat counter. There is also a clarge clothing section. The cafe here is very good, light, airy and the food is usually very good. It does make you want to take a drinks break! Once in store there is the usual Tesco wide range, well laid out and with helpful staff. It can get quite busy (if you want a more relaxing Tesco shop head up the road to Swiney Way, Toton). If you live in the area there is a free bus service - phone 01332 204568 for details.
